I always try to see at least one spanish language film while I´m here. I saw the above titled movie, but don´t think I´d recommend it for anyone who isn´t into art house films and such. It´s about the Argentinian space force blowing up the moon, or trying to anyway. It´s set in the future, and certainly on the ¨funky¨side.
I went to an early (4pm) showing, and the only other guy in there left about 2/3rds of the way through.
They do have a cute spaceman out front doing a promo for it.

I have been lurking on the board for a while now and hope to be taking a trip to BsAs in the near future. I have some questions. 1. Is clothing inexpensive in BsAs? Could you give examples of how much say dress shirts or sport coats cost. 2. What is the general dress attire in the different clubs and is it different for clubs in recoletta compared with flores? How about dress at restaurants. 3. How do you suggest I bring money while on vacation? I don't have an atm card of any type and I can't take money from my credit card from an atm. I was thinking I take about U$S600-700 in travelers cheques and about U$S to cash right away when I get into the country. I will then use my Credit Card at every opportunity I can. At what places can I cash travelers cheques and are the exchange rates fair?

David 33 and I had arranged to taxi-pool to the Sunday mixer at the Mansion on Sunday. We head out, and get there in good time. I can *almost* get there without the map now.
We get there, and Jackson greets us and shows us around a bit. Silvina and Maria Nieve (Twin number 1) are there as well. It´s always relaxing talking to the other guys when in BA.
Silvina is a great hostess and super friendly. This was the first time I had met her, and I was very impressed. Warm empanadas, drinks and snacks were passed around for all.
I´m not sure who came next. Hunt99 and Seismo were there when we got there or pretty soon after. Capt Dave is off in Paraguay, I think.
Twin number 1, Maria Nieve was there, and she was very tempting to me. I was told that one twin had implants and was shaved, and the other didn´t and wasn´t. I was told (not mentioning any names, cough) that I had the all natural one at first, and then later told that I had the unnatural one after I had ravaged her. It´s not a critical thing, but I like small to medium in the breast department. Implants *usally* mean big, so I usually don´t go there.
I decided to take Nieve upstairs while she was still ¨fresh¨. I´ll report on that in another post.
When I came down it was raining, and most of the guys were in the back. Dickhead had arrived and was being the BBQ Chef. He braved the rain, and did a great job on the beef and sausages.
We all sat down in the dining room and had a nice dinner with the steaks, potato salad, bread, sausages (small and large) and drinks gracefully served by Silvina.
Dickhead recalled a sweet adventure to the Amazon with a girl whom he would NOT fuck, and a number of other interesting, and even possibly, true stories.
After dinner, we had a nice cake, I think that Seismo brought. We had long discussions on the social security system, and other ex-pat like things. Silvina and Maria number 1 went upstairs to do a photo shoot. She´s going to be added to Silvina´s recommended girls, so they needed get some good shots for the website.
When they came down, they were looking at the other girls pictures on the Argentinaprivate site, and laughing like teenagers. Get two girls together, looking at pictures of other naked girls, and it´s always fun.

it's true many of them are of poor to marginal quality, but there are some diamonds in the rough, particulary the ones in Belgrano and Palermo.

BTW sometimes apartment girls also advertise in Clarin and you can use this info to try to get the Clarin price at the apartment, avoiding the risk of having additional chicas running through your place. I did this with some success in 2003 but it is somewhat time consuming to match up the phone numbers.

I got a number of PM´s from newbies here, almost all with 0 posts. I know that with the changeover from WSG, that some may not had a chance to post here yet. However, the only way to make this board work is for ALL of you to post.
Even if it´s a average chica that someone has posted on before, give us some details. Did you find a great restaurant? Post about it. You don´t have to tell us how long your toe nail clippings are (that´s my job), but give something back to Argentina Private.
Make a Best Chica/Worst Chica list. Post some pictures too, if you can.
I remember when I first met Mickey Mouse a couple of years ago. He was a wealth of knowledge, had been almost everywhere, but didn´t really post! Now he does, and everyone gains from it.
Now on to one of my favorite subjects, food.
Best Empanadas: Probably Rodizio has the best, but most probably won´t go there. Next best is a tie between La Americana and La Continental.
Pizza Bum´s are okay. Puerto Montt´s are pretty mediocre, Ugi´s are cheap. Did I mention they´re cheap? You get what you pay for there.
Best cheap steak: Grant´s buffet. I really thought the quality here was good. 11 pesos for lunch, and the parrilla was really good for this price.
Best Steak, 14 pesos or more. El Yugi´s 14 peso Bife de Chorizo is just marvelous. It´s enough to make you go catatonic if you eat it all. A huge sucker, not real tender, but great flavor. I enjoyed it more than the 29 peso Lomo I had at El Establo the day before.
Buffet: Well if you´re going to spend lots of money, Rodizio is nice for an all around meal. I liked their ¨come around the table¨ type meat service, but some don´t. Quality of meat was good, but not excellent. For value, I´d pick Grant´s. 11 pesos for lunch M-F, but you must buy a drink or pay a 1 peso surcharge. Comer by Affaire is okay, but they´re the same price as Grant´s once they add on their 1 peso ¨servicio de mesa¨. You have to buy a drink there too. Comer´s Parrilla is really weak.
Okay, now to my other favorite subject: chicas.
Best boliche: Catto´s. Nice selection of chicas, lower drink prices and such. One doorman is a bit of a prick (Asked for a tip, and then almost threw the 1 peso back at me), and one of the meseros seemed pretty pissy my last time in there as well.
Best Privado: Maipu. For 50 pesos, you get a good quality chica, both gave nice BBBJ´s with no mention of tip, didn´t ask for a tip whatsoever. Delivery for the same price, with slightly inflated taxi fare. Thanks for the heads up on this one, Seismo.
The tour of Flores was interesting as well. While I didn´t pull any, there were some that looked decent. However, with the 50 peso per hour departamento on Maipu, it is a bit hard to justify 100 or 120 peso per hour at Envidia or Doly´s.

Tonight in an area bounded by Marcelo T de Alvear, San Martín, Carlos Pellegrini, and Córdoba, I counted a [b]record breaking[/b] 26 street walkers. Florida and Paraguay was hugely fertile, with the famous María, sister Andrea, eminently fuckable Melani, Romina, and newbie Ana María in attendance. Furthermore there was a fuckable chica in Bar Castelar, a first. Well, okay, she looked fuckable from ten yards away through a plate glass window but even that was a first. And I was pretty sober. I would say that there were more chicas I have fucked all there at one time than I have ever seen (8 that I remember).
Ness was dead and sucked. The Savage Beast was there but was in Hyde mode rather than Jekyll mode. We did not stay. Now what about this Bárbaro on Tres Sargentos? We were quoted 6 pesos a beer and 15 for chicas and we saw one cute one through the window so we went in. There were some fuglies in there and my friend did not want to stay. Me, I think we should have stayed. There was a rock band in there and yeah 2.5 fuglies per do-able chica but I only need one and I bet they would go for <100. After the line-up and your selection tell Silvia that you want to take the girl back to your hotel or apartment. They will either come with you right away or follow you in a separate taxi as there is some delay while they change into street clothes, or they don't want to be too obvious. There has never been an extra charge for take out, except the taxi to and from 1707. They will also want to call back when they get to your place. The term with food in a restaurant is "para llevar"; I'm not sure how polite that that would be in this case, but it works. You can also call and have girls sent over if you know whom to ask for.

Selection is better in BsAs' winter than in the summer. So far as chicas are concerned, you're going in high season. Enjoy! :)
I think what Hunt 99 ment to say is theres a highter ratio of Chica's to Mongers in the winter because its the off season for Argentina.
A lot of our European & north American Monger brothers stay home in the summer and are not interested in the cooler Argentine winters to vacation.

Agree! Plus, it's been my experience that girls who would otherwise be off in Mar del Plata or in other holiday places will be in BsAs during their wintertime. June-August is prime mongering season in Argentina.

I am glad to see that the "El Toro Rojo" limited edition T-shirts are in high demand. It just so happens that the "Master Design" for this near extinct item is nearby, so an increase in supply is possible should DH require it. I do think a small change in design would be appropriate to ensure the retention of value in the initial "limited Editon". How long before the bidding wars begin on E-Bay?
Chica Pricing: I have received a few requests concerning TLNs and Chica pricing in the winter months as compared to other times of year. Historically I have found an increase in "Quality Chica Supply" during the colder months which has resulted in better pricing for Us Mongers.
For example: As many of you know, I like my TLNs because I can get 3 - 4 bangs for my pesos, a minimum of one when we get back to my hotel, another round when I roll over with a "Hard On" after a coule hours of sleep and the "Grand Finale" before she leaves around noon. On my last trip I only paid more than 200p once for a TLN, and that was my choice because of the exceptional time I had. Thank you Cristina!
Now this may not be proper "Sperm Management" according to Exon, but I'm sure you must agree that the "Per Pop Value" is extraordinary and ranks up there close to DH's values. No one will ever equal this man's pricing!
Bottom line: It's all "Supply and Demand": Colder months = more women (less men etc) and better value; Warmer months = fewer ladies (more men, vacations etc) and slightly higher pricing. Now a discussion of the Quality can begin.

You are experiencing something that is common in Argentina: inflation. After the huge devaluation of the local currency in December 2001 (the exchange rate with respecto to the US dollar fell to 1/3), people that provide services (like escorts, tourism operators, etc), sell real state and everybody who has an independent activity (lawers, doctors, etc) have been trying to "actualize" (with respect to the US dollar! why?) their income. For example, one of my favorite escorts used to charge me 100 AR in October, 120 in December and 150 now. Another one went from 160 AR in January to 200 now. My income is fixed, though! This is a generalized phenomenon, and I'm pretty sure that many of the members of this forum had already encountered it. There is no easy solution, since this behavior belong to our society's culture ("to be afraid of the uncertain future").

Yeah, but inflation is not 50% per year. They raised their prices 25% last year, from 80 to 100. The independent gals I see haven't raised their prices at all, or even said anything about doing so.
I must say that Cele certainly made it up to me. Showed up right on time too. Since today's a holiday all the neighbors were home and she made a hell of a lot of noise.
