Called in yesterday evening after all the positive comments posted over the last few months. Met TL who was very helpful, knew the BA scene very well and had many interesting stories to tell. Enjoyed a steak with a friend and moved on, with TL's help to Hook, not being a "seasoned clubber" was pleased with the help that TL provided. Any new guys in town should check out L'Alliance.
Stopped in between pub visits during Friday WC matches but, alas, L'alliance closed. Maybe next time.945 Cordoba. Next to La Chaca. Correct?

I had dinner at the L'Alliance last Friday. The steak was tender, the wine was impeccable, the chicas were pretty and the prices were reasonable (for the steak & the chicas)
TL also has a great selection of hot sauces including some horseradish mustard and steak sauce.

I was in BA from June 30 through July 6; now back in sex prison.:(
I first went into L'Alliance on Friday, July 2. I think this was the day the place had just reopened. I was greeted warmly by Tejano Libre, and I introduced myself. He let me have his seat at table where there was one other monger, EL Max, and a chica, Pamela. There may have been some activity upstairs, but other than this one table, the downstairs was pretty empty. I wasn't terrible hungry, so I had some pork cutlets, a glass of red wine, and a salad. Very good. L'Alliance has a gorgeous waitress that TL assures me is unavailable. Later another chica, Mara, came in. I wasn't up for fucking that night, since I had recently been to Gysell's, so I took the phone numbers of Pamela and Mara with the intent of calling one of them the next day. Next night I came back to L'Alliance with Pamela, and I left with her as well. The place was just as empty as it was the night before. I guess it's taking time for TL to get his business back. This time I was hungry, so I ordered a mixed platter which is supposed to be for 2, but the sexy waitress let me order a reduced size platter for one person, and a glass of red wine. The food here is very good. Tonight I met Silver Star and one other guy who I think was from Wales.
TL is a nice guy, a friendly, affable person, which means he's a good businessman. If you are new to the BA mongering scene, and I am relatively new to this city, although not to mongering, you may find him very helpful. He is fluent in Spanish, so he can help you translate if you are Spanish-deficient. He will also introduce you to girls, as he did with me to Pamela and Mara. He will even help with negotiating the price, and he will tell you in English what you should pay. I would recommend a visit to L'Alliance as an essential first stop to a newbie mongering in BA. And the food is good as well.
I probably won't be back to BA until November or December at the earliest, since I'll be recuperating from orthopedic surgery for a few months. But when I return, L'Alliance will be among the first places I visit.
Ramiro, had a great time in BA, great steak at your restaurant with a beautiful waitress serving you. What more can you ask for? Meeting follow board members and Janet (I think that her name) was a treat next time I'll give her a spin. But Ramiro many thanks for being very helpful, sorry I missed you the following night for somemore mongering help.

I am bringing a cadre to L'Alliance. I understand the deal but tejano libre has a business to run and he is trying hard; I am going to test his quality soon. We will come at least 5 or 6 people at least one night this week, maybe two. I am new to the site but the challenge is made to others. Maybe a BUCKET of Peanut Butter would be better!
Smooth or crunchy or even swirled with jelly!
It can be obtained in BA but it is not a very common or everyday item.

I already know what your opinions are on food and women, so lets get to the wine. I am no oenophile but, I like my vino tinto, preferably in a big cupa. I am a fan of Luigi Bosco (particularly the DOC) and Angelica Zapata (Catena) and Don David. As a resto owner and connoisseur of fine luxuries (pussy, steak, etc) what are your "go to" Malbecs? What is your favorite bang for the buck (still talking wine here) What if you feel like splurging?

With Suipacha as a pedestrian street and with Excedra re-opening it will only get better.
The global crisis has made it very difficult to operate a resto-bar in BA.
At least for me.
Fewer tourist and all of the other restos giving away their products to attract business.
Lower quality meats, smaller portions, etc.
I'm not about that!
I will need a new place to hold court.
A place where we can meet and OUR girls can hang-out with us.
Like I said, a true Butt-Hut!

After reading the other posts in this thread, I decided to seek out TL at L'Alliance on my first day in town. I'm a BA newbie and with only a week in town didn't want to waste most of it figuring the place out on my own.
I showed up just after 8PM, that beautiful waitress let me take a big table (I was saving room for TL and whatever friends of the board might show) and soon after TL appeared and he and a friend joined me for drinks while I ate a great steak w / spaghetti combo (I was carb-ing up just in case TL sent me right into action) As a quick side note, watch out for the hot sauces TL has in stock, one of them is still probably burning a hole in my lip.
After our wide-ranging conversation, I was introduced to Veronica and Mara as they came through, with Mara joining our table and quickly getting me in the mood to enjoy her more later. My notes on our overnighter are at:

TL helped me figure out Mara's price-point and what she would be up for, translated some of the harder parts of the conversation for me, and it all worked out as expected. Actually for me it worked out better, as I always assume something won't turn out quite right and in this case it went perfectly.

. In fact had to go back for seconds (and thirds) so last night I was very intrigued to take Rocio out for a testdrive and since she arrived with Lucia (who looks a lot like a girl I know from Hooters Santiago chile) I had to go for the double scoop!
We did not even wait to get back to the hotel and had our very own episode of Taxicab confessions! The cab driver did not say a peep and am sure went to some alley to jerk off after dropping us off at the hotel. There was just a great vibe going and we were getting cheered on by other drivers clapping and giving us the thumbs up.
Rocio, I just may need to tap that one last time before leaving tomorrow. What a smoking slender 21 year old body with girl next door looks, I would not have suspected her as a working chica if I saw her walking down the street. Apparantly she can have an attitude at times (or so was warned) but this could not be further from the case last night. It was the perfect double girlfriend experience with Rocio taking the lead role and Lucia coming on strong in the end! Lucia was definitely the dirtier of the two. In fact, Rocio at first would not do BBBJ, of coarse Lucia would not have any of that and then they were both providing a spectacular BBBJ with plenty of tongue action from Rocio's tongue piercing providing much appreciated added pleasure!
I would definitely recommend L'Alliance to all. The only true ¨Surf-n-Turf¨ in town! The economy sucks down here, especially in restaurants so come down and have a top of the line steak and some cold beers! Its an easy way to repay TL for all his good advice and help with the Chicas. Why go to the expensive clubs when the club can come to you!
