Dear Jackson!
Allow me to be the first one to congratulate and thank you for migrating the Argentina section to this new forum.
The past six weeks have been one of the most painful periods in my mongering career, mainly due to the chronic problems with WSG. I say this despite having gotten laid on numerous occasions both in Moscow and Buenos Aires in the same period.
Not to be overtly poetic, but lately I had been feeling like a monger without a sole, and certainly one without a sense of belonging.
My question to you is as follows: Should we continue to post BOTH on WSG and ArgentinaPrivate? In other words, in the spirit of not abandoning the general readership of WSG, should we (or could we) mongers post the same posts on both fora?

I am so happy to see your email in my yahoo inbox today. I can't believe my eyes when I saw it was from you. Even though I don't visit Argentina. I just want to come and see this forum and check things out. It has been very miserable not able to access WSG..it is like I lost my family and a community of special friends. I hope you will be able to continue the WSG forum again.
I know you were missed by hundreds of bros around the world.

I am just back from a business trip from Mexico (doing some research on the side, see reports) and am happy to find at least the Argientina section of WSG up, running and healthy again!
This has become much more than just a mongering exchange place, It is one of the best travel resources about Argentina found on the net, and I hope it remains so. I will certainly do my part to it.
Thanks a lot for it, and hopefully WSG itself will also recover soon. Last week, however, it was more or less useless. Today seemed better.

This is my first time even looking at the WSG argentina or Argentina private section. I thinks it's interesting I might show up to BA around June to see what all the fuzz is about.
On the serious tip I might go to Argentina soon or Later and wanted to know where the 2005 reports will be posted in the Argentina Private section or the WSG section, I haven't seen any reports past 1-15-05.
I've seen various reports but nothing first hand from BA after that date, where should I post If I have any adventures in BA.

Now that I just RETIRED I want to be there and many other places, but when I was YOUNG the first Country I Fantasized about was Japan. Now It will be my 60th Country visited in search of pussy. Be aware of the letter from the so called princess. This is the famous "Nigerian Scam". It works like this: The try to lure you into leting them use your personal or business bank account to supossedly transfer the money from the security place to their own accounts. For that they require you give them the ABA and the account number, in exchange for your service they are willing to gove you a 20% cut of the full amount. In reality once you give them your bank info they can request a transfer of every penny you have in your account effectively cleaning you up of any funds you might have. Another variation is that they invite you to Nigeria to do the transaction. Once you get there, suddendly they demand money to pay for storage of the currency. Then you are required to pay even more to bribe some government officials, at the end you end it up with a gun in your head, no money and back to the airport.
Just delete this type of emails and just in case make sure none of your family members or business associates fall for this scam.

I have had the pleasure of speaking by phone with the Princess. She is for real. I was planning a vacation there 3 months ago but the great King of Ogba Land died, so she asked me to postpone the trip but wire transfer the money anyway. Its very easy to send money there if that's what concerns anyone.

in editing posts, both myself and dh tried to capitalize various letters in our posts, but the system will not allow it. Maybe it was a one time glitch, but be watchful for it.

As you may have noticed, jackson, by some quirk of the site, the capitalization function is working only sporadically, and there is also some random spacing after non-letter characters, such as smilies and forward slashes.

When I try to view your site from Marriott I get a 502 proxy error. At first I thought they were being restrictive but I could get to Area-Vip.com.ar without a problem.
So, I'm coming in via a proxy (Unipeak). Anyway, thought you'd want to know.
Update: i picked up a copy of Anonymizer so I don't have to keep screwing with Anonymous Proxies. Worked lik a charm.

Among other bullshit, your cleanup script converts.
"y" to "why"
And that suck, because a single "y" is very common in spanish - it just means and, and occasionally it makes sense to quote spanish texts, I. E. Newspaper articles etc.

In those rare ocassions where you must type a single "y", which the script changes to "why", you may subsequently edit your report and reinsert the single "y".
In other words, the formatting script does not effect edited reports.
