Hi,
I'm going to be in Buenos Aires from April 15 through May 4, and I would be interested in renting an apartment for that period of time. If yours is available, please PM me with details.
I am interested in renting an apartment for 6 days in Mid March.
Hello,
I just sent you PM's, by the way, you should never hesitate to include more details in your inquires, and it's easier for both (for you and for the providers) to reduce the emails exchanges.
Just a comment, Thanks and happy holidays.
I booked this apart from bytargentina (as Roxana's was not available) Since I saw mixed reviews on byt, not sure what to expect. Has anyone stayed in this apart?
Thanks
Raj
Looking for a 3 bedroom apt. The dates I will be in B. A. are as follows Jan. 23rd to 30th. Thank you.

I think Byt is ok, I have rented with them like 5 times and they are doing a good job.
Please look at my post and the discussion about Byt last year December 2006. There have been other questionable opinions about Byt. I would not use them.
Rustyjones.
***I have had good luck with BA4U. Ask for Tomas. This time I may not be able to use them because they do not have accomodations where I wish to be. I have not ruled them out though yet.***
Does anyone have any info / feedback on these two outfits?
BAires apartments and Bairesrent. Com.
Any info or references / feedback would be appreciated.

That one, even though it looks great, is above my budget. I only want to spend up to 400 - 500 for the week.
But thanks.

I will be in Buenos Aires from July 3rd to July 31st. I'm looking for an affordable apartment (ie under $600/ month or around that much) that has cable, internet, a small kitchen, and a nice sized bed. I don't really care about it being ultra luxurious, but I would like a place that is clean and close to the main areas of the city. If you have something please send me a PM.
Thanks!
I am looking for 4 day apt rental starting this Sat. The 26th. Does anyone know any agency that offers 4 day rentals. Your help is greatly appreciated!

I have this apartment available http://www.barts.com.ar/barts/lodgin/apartments_det.php?apartment=twin it's really nice and if you reserve it today I will include a Premier Pack (USD 299 value) at no extra charge! Yes, today I'm a little bit more crazy than normal.
As the apartment descriptive pictures are not that good, you may take a look to the genuine leather couch in the following video http://www.barts.com.ar/barts/ap/articles_detail.php?recordID=marian_video
Video has been shooted in BAEZ apartment, which it's an identic apartment in the same building, unfortunally (well, fortuanally for me) baez is not available, but Twin apartment has a similar genuine leather couch (in baez is dark-brown and in twin is black, that's the only difference, plus the frames has been built in Argentina for Twin and imported from Milan in Baez)

Hi MCSE.
Why is there a picture of Porn star Puma Swede on your post?
If she is included. I will rent from you.
Best Regards.
Smuler
Hi Smuler,
I have an answer for you under the BARTS apartments for rent thread, since will be easier to access the images and links.
http://www.argentinaprivate.com/forum/showthread.php?p=387072#post387072
BTW: picture is not actual, but video has been shooted at the apartment. I have the rights on the video.
Thanks!
In short,
He expects you to believe that the world famous Swedish porn star Puma Swede (the girl in his fake twin picture ) is somehow in Argentina and is that ugly hooker mirian in his video.
For those like you and myself that know the industry, this ploy is quite laughable.
But let him run with it.
Regards,
BM.

Don't hesitate to check and contact Jackson regarding his pads he has in BA. I stayed at one in Recolta (sp) a couple of weeks ago and it was GREAT. Very big and spacious, and a nice location.

The apartments that Badman has listed are pretty nice and close to the main action in Recoleta.
If you need an apartment in BA, you can't go wrong by renting from Jackson, Badman or MCSE (BARTS)
I was hoping someone could offer an opinion regarding location and street level noise. Over the years I have stayed in Palermo.
I have the chance to rent an apartment on Scalabrini Ortiz and near Sante Fe. The apartment is on the 9th floor with sound proof window or sliding doors yeah yeah yeah. I know the street is busy, but any thoughts regarding reality?
I have stayed also in Las Canitas in a beautiful unit Ortega why Gasset. Not available. I do like the area.
Also was pondering Palermo Soho / Hollywood, but still does not read right.
One last question if I may, is Billinghurst and Sante Fe also a busy lot. I know BA is the 9th largest city. Looking for a little quite when I go there. Last time I was near the elevator motor and just about drove me nuts!
I know most of your sites those who rent units, just looking for a bit of local advise. Thank you in advance.

Thank you in advance.
I don't know about soundproofing, but I looked at an apartment on Scalabrini Ortiz about two years back, real nice place, and at the right price. But, really loud, and this was pretty well up in a high rise. So, be careful. Scalabrini Ortiz is a VERY busy, loud, colectivo infested street. I would definitely avoid, particularly at the intersection with Santa Fe. Not a pretty area either.
I stayed for about 9 months in three different apartments that were 1-3 blocks from Scalabrini Ortiz and Santa Fe. Doggyboy is right about the street being noisy but that is a great area to live in. Everything that you need is within 5 blocks in any direction. You are close to 2 small local parks which are pretty dirty and trashy but cater to locals and really add a lot of atmosphere to the area. Plus you are right by the Scalabrini Ortiz stop on the green line of the subte. The best case scenario is to get an apartment on one of the side streets one or two blocks from Scalabrini Ortiz. It will be quiet as a tomb and you are still close to the action.
Since there are obviously some folks here connected into the apt rental buisness. I'm looking for a two bedroom apt (4 pax - 2 male 2 female) in BA to rent Feb. 21 through Mar 1. I've been living in Martinez for five months but have some friends coming in to town and we want to do it up inside the city. Things I'm looking for are.
1. Fun neighborhood (bars-restaraunts etc.)
2. Pool.
3. Proximity to subway.
4. Nice terrace - bbq area.
Looking to spend about 500-700/ week, but could be pushed a little higher in the right situation. I'm currently traveling in Peru but will be back in BA around Feb. 15 to sort out the apartment. If needed i could deliver a down payment (cash or credit) on the apartment before that date.
Thanks.
Gilly
