I have been trying to book an apt for one week Mar 22-29 but it feels impossible! It is with BA apts (or something like that) who have hundreds on their site. Been trying since last Wednesday and not one reply.
Now I leave Monday Mar 21.
Does anyone have any suggestions now that time has run out here?
My max is $170 for one week.
I also realize that Easter week is now in play.
Any help would be more than appreciated.

Try Mayra for apartments. Her contact info is in my Guide to BA. It as accessible on the home page of Argentina Private.
Moondog
I had a Mayra Brill apartment on the corner of Cordoba and Suipacha. The apartment was ok. The only problem I had was there was only 2 sets of sheets for the double bed and 2 for the futon/day bed. Going 6 days and fucking chicas all week really needs more sheet sets. I called Mayra but nothing was done about it.
Thanks Moondog.
I did my best.
Hope Myra can help.
Regards Michael
It's been a while since I browsed the BA forum. I remember reading about apartments offered by Saint. Can anyone please point me to the website.
Thanks!
Even though he doesn't post anymore He still answers my PMs. I don't know the website but PM him He will probably answer.

I saw him on my last trip to BA. He is alive and well. He is a very bright guy who is as generous with his time as his agenda allows. His business has grown. He was constantly being put down, so he stopped posting. His apartment rentals.
Are high end only. He is not looking for the under us$100. Per night market. I would hope that this website has enough different people with enough different points of view that there should be room for everyone here.
Jackson basically gives us this site as a gift. I would hope that everyone.
Would want to have a broad range of different people who have different points of view and experiences to share.
Saint's apartments are for people who want an alternative to.
A four / five star hotel---the same quality at a cheaper price.
And other extras like a vonage phone.
My first post here was about a us$32 per night hotel. I'm not one of Saint's customers. I enjoyed his postings over the years.
And followed his journey around the world that lead to him moving to ba. SAINT, if you read this, start posting again.
I, for one, truly appreciate all the info available on this site.
THANKS JACKSON, Capt Dave, Otto and Dickhead [who I've never met but he has given me some great time and money saving advise].

I spent an hour looking at different apartments (on the web) in Recolleta area.
I decided to rent Jackson's place for my July visit because it had the best location and was priced at ~25% discount to equivalent places.
I have been to BA 4X, doing both the apartment and hotel thing. JMHO.
Hi!
Have anybody heard anything good or bad about this website?

Thank you in advanced.
It is '' bait and switch''. The good apts. Are not available.
When are they unavailable? Forever? Or just in the near term?
As you might expect, the better apartments are more likely to be scooped up first by renters, wouldn't you agree?
I have used Alojargentina on the two occasions when I visited BA, last year for a small apartment in Recoleta, and this July for a rather larger, if older, apartment near Plaza San Martin. I made the bookings eight or ten weeks in advance, and in both cases the arrangements were handled very smoothly. The company dealt efficiently with my emails, using perfect English, and when I arrived to take up the keys, the company's representatives, young and female, were there to handle the arrangements. They made out very thorough inventories of every item in the flats (which I could not read) and checked everything thoroughly on my departure. The only extra charge was AS$7 because I forgot to launder a couple of towels. My deposit was returned without a problem.
I intend to return to BA and I shall certainly consider using Alojargentina again.
