Don't hesitate to check and contact Jackson regarding his pads he has in BA. I stayed at one in Recolta (sp) a couple of weeks ago and it was GREAT. Very big and spacious, and a nice location.

I am looking to rent a luxury 2 bedroom apartment. I will only need it for 2 nights. January 25 and 26th (or possibly February 1 and 2)
Please let me know if anything is available.

I will be BA January 30-February 3. I am looking for 3 nights of luxury accomodations.
I am interested in either of the following:
1) Two luxury single bedroom / studio apartments that are close together geographically.
OR.
2) One luxury two bedroom apartment--that has 2 Full bedrooms with 2 Queen Beds.
My preference is to be around the action in Recoleta.
Rwaters.
Check out these options.
If you are interested, send me an email or a PM,
These are two ultra luxury rentals in the same building. One has a King size bed and the other has a queen size bed.

The apartments that Badman has listed are pretty nice and close to the main action in Recoleta.
If you need an apartment in BA, you can't go wrong by renting from Jackson, Badman or MCSE (BARTS)
I was hoping someone could offer an opinion regarding location and street level noise. Over the years I have stayed in Palermo.
I have the chance to rent an apartment on Scalabrini Ortiz and near Sante Fe. The apartment is on the 9th floor with sound proof window or sliding doors yeah yeah yeah. I know the street is busy, but any thoughts regarding reality?
I have stayed also in Las Canitas in a beautiful unit Ortega why Gasset. Not available. I do like the area.
Also was pondering Palermo Soho / Hollywood, but still does not read right.
One last question if I may, is Billinghurst and Sante Fe also a busy lot. I know BA is the 9th largest city. Looking for a little quite when I go there. Last time I was near the elevator motor and just about drove me nuts!
I know most of your sites those who rent units, just looking for a bit of local advise. Thank you in advance.

Thank you in advance.
I don't know about soundproofing, but I looked at an apartment on Scalabrini Ortiz about two years back, real nice place, and at the right price. But, really loud, and this was pretty well up in a high rise. So, be careful. Scalabrini Ortiz is a VERY busy, loud, colectivo infested street. I would definitely avoid, particularly at the intersection with Santa Fe. Not a pretty area either.
I stayed for about 9 months in three different apartments that were 1-3 blocks from Scalabrini Ortiz and Santa Fe. Doggyboy is right about the street being noisy but that is a great area to live in. Everything that you need is within 5 blocks in any direction. You are close to 2 small local parks which are pretty dirty and trashy but cater to locals and really add a lot of atmosphere to the area. Plus you are right by the Scalabrini Ortiz stop on the green line of the subte. The best case scenario is to get an apartment on one of the side streets one or two blocks from Scalabrini Ortiz. It will be quiet as a tomb and you are still close to the action.
Since there are obviously some folks here connected into the apt rental buisness. I'm looking for a two bedroom apt (4 pax - 2 male 2 female) in BA to rent Feb. 21 through Mar 1. I've been living in Martinez for five months but have some friends coming in to town and we want to do it up inside the city. Things I'm looking for are.
1. Fun neighborhood (bars-restaraunts etc.)
2. Pool.
3. Proximity to subway.
4. Nice terrace - bbq area.
Looking to spend about 500-700/ week, but could be pushed a little higher in the right situation. I'm currently traveling in Peru but will be back in BA around Feb. 15 to sort out the apartment. If needed i could deliver a down payment (cash or credit) on the apartment before that date.
Thanks.
Gilly
Sidney,
If it's ok, can you revealed the lowest and highest amount you have paid for a month's rental here in BA. I am asking only because I think you have stayed a fair amount of time here.
Very good. Another question if it's not a secret, what's your favorite barrio and why. Need to run an errand so thanks in advance.
Status:
1. Badman answered promptly but I declined because his very nice places were too expensive for my needs.
2. Reynolds finally showed me 1 dumpy apt, Friday. It was next to Checkers Pub. It was tempting because all of Exon's honey was so convenient! But, I couldn't be a buddy fucker!
3. MCSE / Barts. He gave the assignment to a chica. She demanded that I book before inspection! She would not relent! I appealed to MCSE. He agreed with me. But another 6-8 days have passed and she has shown me nothing or emailed, but she promised to show!
4. MyPlaceRealEstate. I have rented from them often in the past. Many promises but no showings!
--------------------
My search is over--I found a place through my current landlord. This has been a sad experience! The rental possibilities were 15-18 days now and for many months beginning March 16. And most didn't give a fuck!
Hey Sidney,
What am I, a potted plant?
Did you check my apartments?
Thanks,
Jackson
