Atl,
I always stay in the San Martin area. It is more congested and frenetic, but EVERYTHING one needs can usually be found on the block that you stay on.
I mean locoturios, grocery, restaurants, laundry, pubs, bars etc.
Furthermore, you are within easy walking distance of Orleans and Excedra (Chica Cafes), the Triangle (Cattos, Ness, Hook), Apt 921 Suipacha, Jaz, Cutty Sark, and the often reviewed Dick heads Maria.
For shopping and prime chica watching you are right there at the pedestrian streets of Florida and Lavalle. Great for food, leather, locutorios etc.
You are close to Recoletta (3-5 pesos taxi) should you desire those clubs:
Affaire, Madahos, Black, Shampoo etc.
I find downtown to be more "real" while Recoletta is more for tourist and well to do Argentinians. There are good restaurants in Recoletta, but at a premium price as well. I find San MArtin/DT to be of a better value. So it depends on ones taste. I also like the downtown clubs. I totally find the girls to less cut throat over negotiations and overall alot less dough for your blow! Bottom line it depends on ones personal choice.
If you stay in SM/DT it is possible to never have to take a taxi to get what you want/need. If you like energy then this is the place. If you want more peace and quiet then Recolleta/Palermo is a better choice (with the result in having to pay more and not be self contained within a city block/street.).
For maps: see Moon Dogs section on this site. Great maps with all the right places highlighted
Hope this helps.
OTH
Except I like the Wilton Hotel, a little pricey at $60.00 US a night it's on the corner of Callao and Santa Fe and the neighborhood is great. The Hotel staff is great except for the red headed (expletive deleted) that works the afternoon shift.
If it's anytime soon you could take them to the Abasto Mall there is a decent arcade and amusement park in the mall.
If it rains you can buy new leather soled shoes and go to Florida Street. If you get a good running start you can slide from Corrientes to Paraguay.
I think most teenagers would get a kick out of touring the Colon. (that's the teatro not the body part, mi teclado no hablo Castillano)
You could try tango lessons at Mora Godoys studio.
The Recoletta cemetary is always creepy cool and the one in Chacarita is bigger.
You could get them all wired on coffee and pay a taxi driver to scare the shit out of them by driving super fast in the rain.
You could tell them to wait for you on Dickheads magic wall. Interesting things happen when you sit there.
A polo match would be fun. (Don't know if it's the season though)
Also you don't mention the age or sex, if it's a boy over 16 turn him over to the savage beast. Or better yet, give him 200 pesos and tell him to do the best he can, that would scar him for life. As a matter of fact, take the whole family to Excedra for dinner. Who knows maybe the wife has a freaky side she's been keeping from you.
Everybody oohs and ahhs over the ceiling in the Galaria Pacifico. Plus you have the added bonus of the alternative lifestyle types hooking up in the bathroom on the lower level.
As Andres would say, hope this helps.
Greetings,
I will be making my first trip to BA from west coast on Sept. 11 and concluding on the 23rd. I have an apartment in Ricoleta and would like to know what the latest info of day action are. I would appreciate any advice that you folks can give me.
Take Care
FYI - I (and some fellow mongers that will remain unamed) are planning yet another trip to BA. To those of you who know me. Yes, I am still on the face of the earth. Sorry - its been while since I have been back or posted. Updates to follow.
Guys help me if you can.
Australian guy who will be spending my first week in Rio Oct. 1 to 8.
I have 10 hours to kill in BA airport on my return journey - I arrive at 11am on Sat Oct. 8 - leave for Dulles at 9.05pm.
Now I am figuring that some of you experienced and learned regular BA visitors could give me some invaluable advice as to how I could easily spend this time with a couple of babes and beers rather than stumped up in airport.
Thanking you in anticipation - I look forward to the advice.
If you get there at 11:00 you will clear customs and Imm by noon, take a remis into town get downtown at 1300. You could have the cabbie drop you off at Excedra, have a little lunch and check out whats there. If you see nothing head to Orleans, nothing there go to 921 Suipache and do the two for one. Take a breather and then go for a little walk, maybe tour the Opera House wander Florida or walk up to 1707 Sante Fe (nice walk lots of chicas) fuck somebody else, buy Dickhead a beer then have supper and head back to the Airport arriving no later than 1900.
Leaving the secure area means you have to pay an additional you$S18.00 as an airport tax. Personally it would be worth it to me.
I will be in Buenos Aires from Sept. 16 to 30. Anyone wants to hook up, give me a pm. I will pm my Argentine cell no.
El Alemán
I'm coming down on Saturday and suddenly the flight is full, now Friday is filling up. You motherfuckers better stay away from my flights this weekend.
Hi All,
I will be in the best city in the world next week, starting Sunday 9/18.
Would be glad to shear a beer etc. Please pm.
Best,
Carpediem
Have arranged with Ana for a pick up (thanks guys) an apartment in Barrio Norte and also packed a crate of magnum condoms (ahem) and plenty of vitamin v / c. I figure I can buy the Gatorade for fluid replenisnment at a nearby Disco market. Is anyone out there in A. P. Land going to be in BA during that time so I can buy them a Quilmes at Excedra?
I will be In BA starting Sept. 29 for a month or so. If anyone wants to hook up PM me or email to [blue][/blue].
Thanks,
Dave

I'll be back in BA the last week of October to fuck things up for everybody.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
Hello,
I will travel to Patagonia in November 2005. I arrive in Buenos Aires on Friday, November 18, 2005, where I will stay for a few days. After I travel to Bariloche, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas and Ushuaia, and return back to Buenos Aires.
Would like to hear anything about Bariloche, Puerto Montt, Punta Arenas and Ushuaia.
Thanks
Hola Gents:
I've been away from the Forums a very long time. I moved to Spain and got engaged. However, I have been granted 2 weeks of asylum and a business class ticket to EZE - so I'd like to make the most of it.
Traveling alone and arriving in BA on Wednesday.
Please PM me if anyone would like to meet up for a beer or 2 to pass on some knowledge.
Thanks.
See you there.
Lex
All I'll be departing on the 23rd and still haven't seen any of the clubs such as Cutter, jaz etc. I took a walk by them earlier today but wasn't sure it would be smart to attend alone. So I wanted to see if anyone want to do some club hopping tomorrow or Sat. PM me if you're up to it.
I'll be in BA from November 7-12, staying in Recoleta. Love to hook up with any mongers there. Let me know if you'll be there and we'll make arrangements to meet.
I got a pass out of sex prison and heading down to BA for three weeks starting Nov. 5. I am really looking forward to downing a few drinks and some chica action. If you want to get together send me an email.
And Capt. Dave, I think I will stop by the Mansion to shake your hand and pay my respects to the legend.
Asta la vista
Congrats Leonio on your release from prison! Will be in BA and staying in Recioleta during the same period so perhaps we can hook up for a few drinks. If anyone else is in the area during the same period drop me a message and we can hook up and hit a few clubs.
Fides
Hey everybody,
I'll be arriving in BA Saturday for one week. Hit me up if you want to hook up!
Hey guys,
Me and my pal will be in Beunos Aires from Oct. 26 to Oct. 31st.
Let me know if any of you guys are available to hook up!
Gentlemen,
I arrived from Rio a few days ago but work has kept me busy. My local rep has plans tonight so I am able to indulge myself without his knowledge.
I had talked with Roxana and tried to get an appointment with Heidi @ Area VIP. Her mailbox is full so now I am looking for alternatives. I spent a number of hours last night going through the reports but there seems to be many opinions on the clubs and escorts with no definte conclusions. I was here in February and dragged a hottie out of Mahados but it appears that you guys do not recomment the place anymore. For me Rio can be sooo much easier with the Termas, set prices, no drink rules etc. And if you treat the girl right she will come to your hotel when her shift is over.
I am a Canadian who travels here a couple times a year on business so my spanish is limited at best. It seems that at the clubs like CS, Jazz and Newport may not be the place for me. There are also a number of warnings regarding bait and switch with the websites.
I like the standard DFK, DATY deal but am a picky bastard and prefer hard bodies with big fake tits. Any suggestions regarding a club I should try; or a intenet girl? Possibly let Roxana do the dirty work for me?
PM me if you would like to get together tonight for a few drinks and the chase, life can be easier with a wingman.
Confused in BA.
BB
I have arrived in Buenos 2 days ago and I havent seen any chica action, so I'm looking to meet upwith some fellow mongers to show me around.
I will be in buenos for 2 weeks.
After reading all the reports I'm ready for some serious action.
I will be in Argentina March 13 - 24, 2006. This will be my third visit and I did OK the first two times, although never as much as I want. I will be in Santa Fe (where I will go to Club Privado at Primero de Mayo & Juan de Garay - I hope it is still open, otherwise there is nothing there) Rosario (no info on this city, any recommendations appreciated) and perhaps Cordoba (likewise (no info on this city, any recommendations appreciated)
I'll definitely be in BsAs March 19-21 and hope to pack in as much as possible during that time. I probably will stay at the Aspen Towers, which is supposed to be chica friendly, although I have of direct experience of that.
If anyone want to get together, please let me know. I hope to make it to the pool part at the Mansion on Sunday March 19 (it should still be summer weather then)
I will be in BsAs untill the end of November.
If someone from the board wants to meet with me for dinner / drinks / visiting privados / mongering let send me a PM.
I am busy untill 5-6 pm during week days but later on I am free and looking for some good company.
Athough english is not my mother tonque I think I can go along well.
El Greco
I'll be returning to BA in two weeks for another 5 day monger trip, arriving on Thanksgiving Day. Will definitely attend the Mansion Thanksgiving dinner if Jackson and CAPT Dave decide to have one. No more jerking off from here on, I have shifted to leche saving mode.:p.
Send me a PM if anyone wants to get together.
I will be back in BsAs around the 10 of December and staying for about a month. Anybody who is interersted in getting together, drop me a note.
Bob
Hello everyone.
I will be in BA.
From December 7 to may 15 2006
This is my 3rd time here.
And I am ready to try apartment living.
I would like to rent a nice big 2 bedroom apartment maybe someone would want to share.
If that possibility doesn't work I am looking for a nice 1 bedroom.
If anyone knows of the above possibilities please let me know.
Also when I get settled will have time to have a drink with anyone to share ideas and view the lovely sites sounds and women of BA.
Chris
Greetings fellow perverts,
I will be visiting BA end of this month, and a few times in Dec. Hope to catch a pool party, if there are any Dec. 4 or 18, but if anyone wants to meets up for drinks on the 30th, or during the day on the 1st, drop me a note.
I stay in the Centro area - Sheraton, but know my way around OK. Be fun to match some faces with the stories here.
Cheers,
Ted

The home of the brave and the land of the free [or at least the deeply discounted]?
I'm flying into BA from San Francisco on 12/9. Any one need somthing brought down from the US? There is much more baggage allowed than I have stuff.
I'm feeling much better and I'll be in BA Jan. 28 - Feb. 5. I'll be staying at the mansion.
Eddie
Hi all!
Got a R/T from NYC to EZE for just under $700, pretty good price, would you say?
I will be there in 55 days, and I am counting.

I'm from Italy (40yo) and I will be in BsAs from 12 January till 10 February. Second time in BA. Can I meet anybody who is interersted in getting around together? Please, let me know.
I'm in town January 9-12. First time visiting so anyone looking to share a beer hit me up.

Strad
I hope its $700 all in (including taxes and fees) then yes iits a good deal, other wise it is not. It also depends which frequent flyer program you belong to and I hope you do.
It costs 90,000 AA miles for business RT and on UA I think its 80,000 miles. AA awards have been great to get, haven't tried to get a UA award that far yet.

And it was not exactly the best connection neither, I have a 6 hour layover in ORD outbound.
UA has a R/T coach ticket from PHL to EZE for around $710 (all taxes and fee included) for March 2006. I'll probably squeeze that one in before my May trip.
