Hunting lodge near no Punta del Este ahora
Maybe Shane (as I am) is just jealous that he not part of your hunting party. However, as any good hunter knows (and a wise monger here once said) when hunting / fishing you have to go where the game / fish are. Even though you close to Punta del Este, which is a great address for what you require Jan.-maybe first part of march, I think unless you spending a bunch more money than what would normally be reasonable you probably are better off to tack on a few days in BA and do your puta hunting here. There was a Toyman story once about a fishing trip where the fishing was horrible (concordia) but the puta was fantastic so guess if your guide does provide some good pussy it may mean that your hunting is less than expected. Please keep us updated as we all want to know.
Baires Disco - Montevideo
Seems weird for my first report to be outside Buenos Aires but you take whatever action you can get when you can get. Hopefully, I'll be able to enjoy what Buenos Aires has to offer later this week.
I was in Montevideo for 24 hours as a Visa renewal trip. I had timed it so I would be there for the arrival and parade for "La Seleccion Uruguay" figuring it would be very lively. Sadly, I got the exact opposite. It was so cold and windy, they cancelled the parade, and most of the locals were on vacation for the long weekend.
I figured I would do some Whiskeria hopping so I could update the list here. The only thing open however was Baires. I was met at the door by Juan who spoke fairly good english and explained how things worked there. Entrance was one drink purchase on my part (UP 260 - $US 13) and if I wanted to take a girl out I needed to purchase them 2 drinks (same price as mine) and negotiate with them directly. I was the first one there at 11pm at night! Large place, about a dozen girls ranging 6 - 8's. They have a pool table in the back so I decided to play some pool and see what happened. I was approached by Marianna who was very attractive, late twenties, dark hair, everything natural (my favorite) We played pool and I bought her a drink. Lots of flirting and grab ass during the game which was nice. She said it was US$100 for an hour and that my hotel (Fourpoints Sheraton) was girl friendly. I said let's play another game and I'd think about it. (As a side note, I never negotiate a girl down if the first offer is in the ballpark. IMO there is somehting negative psychologically about talking less money. What I do is ask for more time so the rate works out to what I expect) She called over her friend Linda and had her turn around so she could grab her ass and then told me she could join us with Lesbianismo included. We proceed to play the next game with me sitting on a bar stool in the corner and the girls playing each other while I watched. They alternated sitting on my lap and rubbing up against me nibbling my ears. A dangerous combination. I decided to give them both a try.
The negotiations were interesting from here. I asked for both girls for 1.5 hours at US$100 and we settled on 1 hr 15 minutes (approx US$80 per hour) with the clock starting when we arrived at the hotel room. I then asked what their limits were (all of this is in 3rd grade Spanish mind you) and they said "All" I said, "not all" and they replied "yes, all" I then asked about anal (which I don't like but is usually a good way to find out if there are limits) and they both said "NO". I said smiled and said, "why not, you said all" and they they finally said no anal and everything covered. It's always like pulling teeth. Anyway, this was acceptable actually, I justed wanted it on the table ahead of time. Would have preferred bbbj but this is not a dealbreaker for me.
Back at the room we all showered (separately) and then the fun began. I went first. (Normally this is where I get nervous about the girls stealing stuff and running but since they left documentation at the desk when we came in I felt more comfortable) After they showered, they both came into the room naked got on all fours on the bed and started a great double BJ (covered) alternating between each other, lots of eye play, and they would also alternate kissing me nibbling various other body parts. After finishing round one, I then watched them together for a while which was decent and more then I expected (lots of kissing and breast play with each other) Once I was ready again, we had hot sex together and I was able to switch between girls at will without condom changes (which has happened to me before and is a total buzz kill) Afterwards, lots of sandwich style cuddling and a mini massage.
So, six drinks (US$13 each) 2 rounds of pool (US$4 each) 2 girls (US$100 each, 1.5 hours) and a cab ride (US$5) US$307 total, 2.5 hours of fun (1 hour of pool play) on what was clearly a very quiet night in Montevideo. Given everything I read about nothing good in Montevideo I was pretty happy. I wouldn't rush out and make this a destination spot but it shows that it is possible to find fun where it is unexpected. Now I can't wait to experience BA, especially if it's much better then this.

While US citizens can open up bank accounts in many Uruguay banks,
If you're a US citizens, you can open an account say@HSBC in Punta Del Este or Carasco, but on the account opening papers, you must agree to sign their privacy rights away in case of inquiry by US govt agency, I am told there are several banks in Uruguay that will Not open account for US passport holders, do not know if true but was told Santander will not, Bandes, HSBC, Banco de La Republica normally will.
It is easy to buy property in Uruguay using an Escribano / a to protect one, and owning foreign property is generally not a reportable asset at this moment in time in the US, though in case of renting summer places in Punta Del Este, one can often cover all their annual taxes, and expenses by renting in summer and maybe want to take advantage of tax deductions available in US tax code.
Was in Uruguay this past May / June, did not monger as got involved with gal, hopefully go back in 2011 and will be able to free my time away from to do some. Glad this site still going on. Happy Holidays.
That's a little dramatic, but there may be a kernel of truth in it. From what I've read in places like The Economist, Uruguay is not exactly a "tax haven," but it's much more so than Argentina or Brazil. The Uruguayan government may have a socialistic bent, but the word I've heard is that they've been careful to keep that divorced from their banking, unlike neighbors who appear more blatantly in the world's financial news.
If Uruguay turns into "Zurich South", would that hurt the neighborhood? And as far as that goes, mightn't Uruguay be more valuable to the argentinos, as a safe haven to hide their stash from Aunt Cristina? Sorry, guys, but I get the feeling that Argentina is the economic "drama queen" of Mercosur, and I prefer "stodgy and safe" for my money.
(That's just the opinion of the most junior "senior member" on the board today. Huh! When did I actually roll over into "senior" membership? Last night at midnight, like a pumpkin?)
