As far as bringing the price down, your mistake was in becoming obviously infatuated with a specific chica. She sensed that you wanted HER, and she player her hand accordingly. I would suggest that you get to the price within the first 5 minutes, and before you buy her a drink. That way, if she wants to play the "stupid tourist" game, you cut her loose quickly and start looking around the room for another choice.[/blue]

- Is it because its Friday night when most guys come around? Whats the scene like on Saturday and Sunday?

As far as I know. I've never been charged a bar fee at Hooks. I've always just bought the girl a drink for about 20 pesos or so. I haven't been asked for more in addition to that.

As for the secret video taping. In my opinion that seems disrespectful and unnecessary. I treat the ladies like anyone else, with respect. Would you liked to be taped without knowing it? Having said that, why don't you just try asking her if it's OK. By far, the majority I've asked have said yes. They only make the stipulation that I don't post it on the internet. Perfectly understandable. I have quite a little collection of videos.

I've had the best luck on my trip to BA that all the girls let me take pictures, or helped take them in a three-way. I think if you're upfront and have a good rapport with them, most will say yes. I would think it would be a little dangerous out on the balcony. What if someone had called the police?

Jaimito is correct about pictures. No matter where I am the girls almost ALWAYS let me take photos. Moondog can give his tips too as he gets many. You have to use common sense. Start off by telling her how beautiful she is. I do that right away and I tell her that I've dated a few models before in the USA and she is as beautiful as those girls. Then I tell her that I don't want to forget her then ask if I can take her picture. I've only had a few out of literally hundreds of girls that say no. My advice: Go whenever you can to a bank, make the queue (Banco Rio at Uriburu St and Santa Fe Ave has a usually fast and short teller line) and ask for small change. ar$300-400 should be enough for 2-3 days of petty expenditures.

I am not sure why Hook has charged different prices. The 20 pesos salida was at 330am. I had walked in the club and did not even order a drink. I went to pick up the chica. She did not receive a drink. As we walked out the stocky bar guy said it was vente pesos - actually Noelia had said it was going to be 18. 2 seconds later the waiter said 20. I looked at her and smiled. I guess no one knows the prices.

Any ways - DAY 4 was a light day --- no action!! I did set up a date set up with the chica from Exedra for tonight - Paula.

I also just made connection with 2 working chicas at the same locotoria on Florida I have been coming to for 4 days. Both have been more than friendly and we finally had lengthy chats today!

Yes, as I reported few days ago Hook has increased chicas drink from 18 to 20. Madhao did the same, 35 to to 40. So do not think you're being cheated if someone still mentions 18 at Hook. Of course, being given fake bills is another story.

Last night the bar tender at Hook gave me counterfeit money. I did not realize until the next day. He gave me a fake 20 and a fake 10 peso bill. They are both photocopies. It is dark in there, and I did not look at the money. Today when I went to the store, the person working there picked it up in 1 second. So obviously this is a tourist trick as the Argentines know right away that it is fake.

The 10 and the 20 on the top left corner on the respective bills should be like a reflective sticker and shinny. On the fake ones it is just like it was printed on a LaserJet.

I just noticed also there is an embedded strip that is only visible when you hold it up to the light! The strip goes from top to bottom, and starts from where the white section turns into the color section. Just hold it up to the light.

If you look at the 10 and 20 in the top left corner, it has just been printed on a LaserJet or perhaps a color photocopier. Real money will have a shiny reflective number almost like a glossy sticker. Due to the limitations of the photograph it is probably not visible here on the Internet. But when you look at the real money you will see what I mean.

The paper quality is also not as good. But Argentina's money is not as good quality as American money, and does not feel as firm regardless. As such, just feeling the paper is not as obvious as if someone gave you a fake USD.

Also, there are small color imperfections in the money. But in Hook it was dark and this was not noticeable.

I know the bartender gave me this because I was a tourist and he figured I would not notice. And, he was right! I did not notice until I tried to pass the money. But the Argentineans can spot this in 1 second, so once you get the fake money, you are screwed!!

Anyway, he will not be getting any more tips from me! Since I am down for a while he would have made more money from tips than what he ripped me off for. Also, please help support my revenge and also not tip him!!
