Would like to see a game next time
Yes sir, first time River has ever been relegated. Now, only two first division teams have avoided the fall-Boca and Independiente. And you got it right, the absence of the superclasico (not to mention the meeting River and Boca have during the "summer season") will cost alot of people alot of money. River has been mismanaged for years and their "gang" has been pampered by the club to the point where the gang was even receiving money when a player was sold to a club in Europe. Chickens home to roost and all that. Being a Boca supporter I say-Good riddance!
The last time I was in BA, I arrived on a Sunday and left on the following Sunday. I did manage to spend an afternoon visiting la Bonbonera and that was awesome! Thanks to a local Argentinian fellow whom we met on the plane. He drove us in his personal car all over BA and managed to get us inside the stadium. He was happy to do that and did not want any compensation. That was just terrific and we were very thankful.
I would love to watch a game on my next visit. Can anyone tell me what's the best way to get tickets to a game? Any 1st division game. Our host told us that there were 4 or 5 1st division teams in BA. Thanks!
Don't cry for me, Argentina
Argentina, with an array of the world's most potent firepower, Messi, Pastore, Tevez, Higuain, Aguero, Di Maria could only muster 1 goal in 120 minutes. And against 10 men Uruguay for most of the match. Alot of men in Argentina is going to be impotent for awhile. You guys who are there better take advantage of the situation.
There is still hope for us!
Diego Maradona will be a father, officially for the 5th time. Drugs, weight loss, alchohol, self abuse, he still can get it up. I will give it a try next week.
