Posts: 3510I was wondering if gold and silver prices in BA are based on Cristina's imaginary rate or on the blue rate, or what. If anyone is on Talcahuano, could they got the spot price for gold and/or silver? This would be a way around the 10k cash limitation (bringing junk silver dollars, for example).

The touts tend to rely on this one more. La nation is a local newspaper and more easily recognized by locals. I carried a link to this on my samsung which helped me get 10 cents more over 500 USD. Ha ha. Not a big deal and is only worth an empanada and a glass of Malbec but it is cool to look like you are well informed.

But it is a large part of who I am.
I saw a 750 ml bottle of Norton Reserva 2011 at Costco today for $11.99. If any of you on the ground is so inclined to check, what is the current price at Disco or in BA?

Posts: 3510When inflation was at its zenith in the Weimar Republic, the workers demanded to be paid twice a day. Their wives would come to the job site at lunch time to get the money to go grocery shopping before the prices went up again in the afternoon.
I suspect that many latina women view their pussies as a hedge against inflation. It must be nice to sell a product where after you sell it, you still have it. It gives a whole new meaning to the concept of a "perpetual inventory."
