Rio I think is slightly overrated now. You have too many tourist in the area and people like Mike in Brazil making Internet Porn there which will do nothing but bring down more desperate sex-starved tourist to the area. They will give ugly chicas more money thus driving the price up for regular mongers that visit and making the better looking chicas even more expensive.

There are some good bands around today, but most people agree that the music scene of 2005 is total shite (unless you are a 12 year old girl) compared to the 1980s, 1970s or 1960s, when fabulous songs only made it to no 10 because the competion was so fierce. Even my 10 year old nieces and nephews liten to Madonna reworking Abba and endless remixes of 80s tracks, why, because modern music is totally dead and lacking any new ideas! Duran Duran, for all their unfortunate new romantic image, had more talent in their combined buttholes than say Franz Ferdinand or Coldpay, who by the way are not bad! So long live hearing a good mix of music.

I have been to BA 4 times over the past 3 years, and will be heading back in February or March next year. I have travelled around much of the world, and it is my favourite city and Argentina my favourite country by far.

Obviously it depends on your tastes. I've been to all 3 in the last year, and I know what my favorite is.

Brazil has some very beautiful girls, but the rip off factor (sometimes the girls, but usually in the street / beach) is very high, primarily in Rio. When you factor in the hassle to get a visa (now mostly giving only 90 day visas) and the strong real it's not a big bargain.

Sao Paolo has some super beautiful girls, but the price can be dear. There are decent options in massage places where FS is included in the price. I actually got the nicest looking chica I've ever been with for about $50 for an hour.

BA also has a lot of inflation, although the Peso vs Dollar rate is stable. The food is excellent, transportation options cheap and plentiful, good selection of affordable chicas and is very monger friendly. You can still find a decent chica for 50 or 60 pesos for an hour in a privado, although not a stunner.

However MoonDog when he use to post on a regular basis is an excellent source of information and I have found his post not only about BsA but Brazil, specfically Sao Paulo very helpful.

In fact I don't think its even fair to compare Rio to BsA or Sao Paulo. I believe Sao Paulo and BsA are very much alike. You can't depend on Termas in either place like in Rio, you don't have the Copa and you don't have Help either. I would consider that makes it easier to find chicas in Rio for less money, but judging by some of the "stunners" posted by some people on ISG, there's better looking Mexican chicas here in Los Angeles and I prolly wouldn't have to pay for it.

Your tactics have to be different because of this, and since you were a newbie I would have at least contacted Roxanne. On top of that if you speak spanish so well, why not go to one of the apartments for a test drive? You could have gotten the local rate for Internet Chicas if you spoke well enough not to be detected.

I don't think they are ripping me off. The price is 50 or 60 pesos for a drink. Thats what they charge everyone I assume. I'm only complaining about the constant hustle for me to buy them a drink.I´m on vacation. I want to relax. I dont want to feel hustled the wole time that im in a bar. This place could be in the top 2 or 3 mongering destinations in the world if they knew how to make their customers happy. Im sure you will all say that they are making a fortune as it is now, and they are, but they would make so much more in repeat business if they ran it right. This place reminds me of blockbuster video. They gave the worst service and charged the highest prices for movies and late fees. They never stopped with their hustle. Now Netflix is around and they are about to go out of business.Everyone remembers how much they hated that videostore.They are paying dearly now. Back to the drinks.... I imagine at 20 bucks for a drink, the girl gets 7 to 10 dollars of that as her commission which means she can make a nice living just getting guys to buy drinks for her and not sleeping with anyone. Don't get me wrong, madahos has the finest girls in buenes aires that I saw. No place comes close. Way better than blacks by far. Its just a shame the way things are run. BTW - those clubs and chicas in Buenos Aires ripped you off big time. I have never had any problems finding quality chicas at fairly good prices. I just take my time and show patience. And I have never had any problems with the clubs trying to over charge me. Guess it just happens to some people.

Perhaps they sense the same negative attitude.

Well, I'm finally almost out of this place. I have 250 pesos left after exchanging 300 us when I arrived. I can't believe how much mileage you can get out of 300 dollars when your not banging girls. I tried so hard to blow my 885 pesos knowing I won't be back and I still have plenty. I will just hang out at Madahos tonight and look at all the hotties and then go home at about 5am. If you go to Uruguay (Montevideo) get the local paper. I think it was called El Pais. Check the massage section for some give addresses and brush up on the spanish then go visit them. The rates there are around $150-$200 pesos for the hour. I believe there is a university nearby or something because the couple of massage places I went to had nice looking younger girls working there and they were all very friendly.

I went to a couple of clubs last time I was there (a couple of years ago) and they are the same as the clubs in BA. Since Montevideo is so close to Argentina, you will see parallels and probably have the same frustrations.

Like in BA, they also have whiskerias there as well. Some of these places are run down but a couple aren't so bad. I like to have a little fun and "rent" a girl and play pool and get to know her a little before I decide to take her out or not. At least I have fun if I decide to just leave.

By the way, some of the brothels in Cordoba charge you a very low minimum, and you can visit with the girl that you choose over a coke or coffee in the establishment. The hourly rate doesn't apply until you actually take her to a room. This way if you don't like the girl you can choose another until you find one you want to take into a room.

I only recently found this forun (as you can see by my post count) so I never kept the names of these places in mind for sharing with others, but I can tell you one of these bothels in only a few blocks from the main Post Office on Colon. I initially got the address in the the local paper advertising (La Voz Del Interior) When I head back to my home in Cordoba next week I'll be sure to start noting some of this info.

BY the way... I agree that quality in Brazil is higher. Since cost isn't a precluding factor for me though, it's still my favorite place regardless of the exchange rate. It would still be less than in Los Angeles and the attitude and atmosphere in Brazil is so much better! Considering my flights to Cordoba cost around $4-5k (I fly Lan Chile Business or First), at this price I certainly wouldn't be flying to South America purely for the women! If that were the case, I would be doing so much better staying in Los Angeles!
