Azul Pub just opened in the last 2 weeks in La Valle between 9 de Julio and Suipacha. I went in with a really sleazy tout I know in the afternoon. The operation appears to be the same as Croupier, which is an out right rip-off.

The women wanted me to sit down with them so they could explain the "operation" of the bar to me. I refused, and talked to the large male bartender and the hostess standing. They tell me $30ar minimum for water, and $30ar for copas for women. They claimed that one paid for sex by buying drinks for the women. This is the Croupier and Le Piaf operation, but you don't get sex or anything else. It really doesn't matter what the story is, the $30ar is horribly expensive and there is nothing in the place. A certain rip-off.

These three places all operate in the very high pedestrian traffic areas of Florida, La Valle, and Carlos Pelegrini. It is best to avoid or be extremely careful of places in high traffic areas. This is the best area for a rip-off, since there is a constant supply of fresh victims. These places all have several people in the pedestrian traffic constantly hustling victims.

On the fake bills, the simplest thing to use is the embedded picture in the white area of the bill. The white area should appear white on both sides when you look at it directly. When you look thru the white area at a light behind the bill, you will see an embedded version of the portrait picture in black and white. This is the technique all the waiters and store clerks use. It doesn't need to be light around you, you only need a decent light behind the bar or wherever. Get familiar with these embedded pictures.

But these guys are good. They sense when you are rushed or drunk also. Especially leaving with a chica, when your attention is on the chica. In one small bar(Snob), they stuck me for 100 pesos, as follows:

1. I paid the bill(50 pesos) with a 100 peso note to leave with a chica.
2. The bartender returned and said "I don't have change, do you have cinquenta?
3. I gave him a 50 which I happened to have stashed for chicas.
4. He returned my 100 peso note. But he had switched the notes, and gave me a fake.

I was a regular customer in this bar, and just wasn't looking for it. I would never have connected the bar, except I gave the fake bill to the chica about two hours later. She was a regular for me, and brought the bill back to me a couple days later. I didn't believe her at first, but after thinking over and over: "How could I get a fake bill?", I remembered the scene. ANYTIME someone else touches your money, EXAMINE it when you get it back. And try to never let ANYONE touch your money.

Once, in Shampoo, the bartender gave me a Patacon 5 embedded in the change. And I was a regular there also. So it does make sense to pay attention to the change. Notice that the restaurant waiters and store clerks ALWAYS look at the money, so it's not unusual and you shouldn't be embarassed.

Another short-stay hotel that accepts non-conventional couples is on J.M Gutierrez between Puerreydon and Laprida. That is very close to Recoleta clubs.

The two girls(Cameron and Candie from Platynum, Something Different, Los Diosas) showed up at my hotel, but without their documents. So plan B went into action, and I took them to Hotel Horizonte right behind Cafe Orleans. It really surpirsed me that the hotel turned us down.

Plan C had us gong back to their working apartment. As much as I do not care for dingy apartment sex, these two were great, and I would highly recommend them both if you want to try two girls.

Two girls, one hour, 300 pesos.

Reference the bills, I do not have any with me right now, so will have to look closely next time in town in about a week.

Moondog, I don't know about a love hotel. But I've stayed, and I am staying again, at Apart Recoleta. They don't care how many girls you bring back. The only response you'll get is maybe a wink from the doorman. Since there's no front desk, there's no one else to hassle you. It may not be the best place in town. But it's easily as nice as Etoile with decent beds. It's in the heart of the action, hell you get a great view of Affaire across the street. But most importantly to me, the privacy and lack of hassle are priceless. Oh yeah, breakfast is also until 1pm. Who gets up in time for breakfast at hotels where it ends at 10 or 11?

About the fake bills. If I remember right, the number on a real bill has a raised texture on it. If so, can you just feel for that?

There is a hotel in Barrio Norte, on Laprida that is off the corner of Santa Fe that allows two girls the the room(ask me how I know!). I forget the name of the other cross street but if you have a map, look for the corner of Laprida & Beruti, then going down Laprida toward Santa Fe it is past the next block (Arenales maybe?) on the left hand side. I don't remember a sign but it is lit with dull red lights.

Ask the cab driver for Laprida & Beruti, turn left on Laprida, pass one block and before you get to Santa Fe, there it is.

The thing with the fake bills, is that you have to have a good deal of light to tell the difference. That is clear from your photos. In a taxi or a dark bar it is not that easy. You need to see the hidden face in blank area of the bill. And one of my fakes had a poorly drawn face to help fool you. Plus I always feel like an ass checking each bill in public - as if I'm telling the bartender he is a crook. There is a subtle difference in "feel" to the fakes. To the touch, they feel more like paper and less like cloth, but really it is pretty subtle.

Last night the bar tender at Hook gave me counterfeit money. I did not realize until the next day. He gave me a fake 20 and a fake 10 peso bill. They are both photocopies. It is dark in there, and I did not look at the money. Today when I went to the store, the person working there picked it up in 1 second. So obviously this is a tourist trick as the Argentines know right away that it is fake.

The 10 and the 20 on the top left corner on the respective bills should be like a reflective sticker and shinny. On the fake ones it is just like it was printed on a LaserJet.

I just noticed also there is an embedded strip that is only visible when you hold it up to the light! The strip goes from top to bottom, and starts from where the white section turns into the color section. Just hold it up to the light.

If you look at the 10 and 20 in the top left corner, it has just been printed on a LaserJet or perhaps a color photocopier. Real money will have a shiny reflective number almost like a glossy sticker. Due to the limitations of the photograph it is probably not visible here on the Internet. But when you look at the real money you will see what I mean.

The paper quality is also not as good. But Argentina's money is not as good quality as American money, and does not feel as firm regardless. As such, just feeling the paper is not as obvious as if someone gave you a fake USD.

Also, there are small color imperfections in the money. But in Hook it was dark and this was not noticeable.

I know the bartender gave me this because I was a tourist and he figured I would not notice. And, he was right! I did not notice until I tried to pass the money. But the Argentineans can spot this in 1 second, so once you get the fake money, you are screwed!!

Anyway, he will not be getting any more tips from me! Since I am down for a while he would have made more money from tips than what he ripped me off for. Also, please help support my revenge and also not tip him!!

Yes, as I reported few days ago Hook has increased chicas drink from 18 to 20. Madhao did the same, 35 to to 40. So do not think you're being cheated if someone still mentions 18 at Hook. Of course, being given fake bills is another story.

I understand your point. And to be honest the chicas face was obscured due to positioning. It was really more like softcore porn video. No crotch shots and certianly no penis shots!! I couldnt take that. If anyone viewed this video and went to the club they would never be able to connect the dots. So in the end it was pretty harmless for the chica.

And i have gotten some great X rated pics this week - gratis and with compliments from my chicas. Video as well. They really seem to love it and I always ask about it upfront.
