Posts: 416As it happens I just walked into my local farmacy yesterday and asked if they had Cialis. They said yes and asked how many I wanted. I bought 4 x 20 mg which cost me 297 pesos. I've got no idea how much these things usually cost, but at USD9+ a pop, that seems very expensive to me?

Posts: 10Can you just walk into any pharmacy to get Viagra or anything similar? Do you need prescription or anything? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Posts: 1064I have a relationship for years with the place
I have no idea if what they are doing is proper. I tend to stay in that area and the place is very easy for me. The owner will buy dollars when he is in the mood and put together an attractive package. They see me 3 or 4 times per year. I also order some other expensive med's in the USA that are dirt cheap in ba. Go down town if you prefer that.

BTW on chewables. Yes they are nice and dissolve quickly and possibly work more quickly. But if you are buying a quantity they take up much more room to store (unless you are keeping original packaging). The tablets are much bigger. Also, they require more careful handling. A couple of normal ones can go in your wallet, whereas chewable crush easily. Just for info.

Posts: 1064I buy from a whole pharmacy in recoleta that reqires a script
My family doc wrote me a script in spanish for generic v 100 mg 250 for one year. The pharmacy had the stock available the next day and quotes a great us dollars price with an excellent exchange rate. I generally not buy that much at any one time. I prefer the chewables-put the pieces under your tongue and it enters the blood streams more quickly and won't mix with anything that happens to be in your stomach.
I will pm the name and address. It is a few blocks from clinica suiza and hospital aleman-near beruti and larea on the corner.
The have been using the same script for 5 years

Posts: 55Thinking 4. 3 pesos per 50mg tablet was a good deal the other day at Corrientes & Suipacha, I went back prepared to buy a larger amount. And guess what, the price had gone up to 7. 5 pesos. That's quite an increase. Possibly a new shipment with the manufacturer charging more, I don't know, but these prices are clearly subject to fluctuation.
I went along to Corrientes 702, a much smaller store, to see what they had. Unlike the other store (which was opening massive cartons of the stuff) , this shop just had a drawer of various brands and not enough for a larger purchase. I ended up with a mixture:
Falic worked out at 5. 17 pesos each tablet.
Almaximo at 6 pesos.
Viripotens at 5. 2 pesos.
Cordoba 876 (Farmacia Cordoba) also had boxes of 30 viripotens at a price which worked out at 5.5 per tablet.
All the above prices are from this morning.

Posts: 55Absolutely. What he said. This is not a medical forum. Mongers should be wise enough to check stuff out as stuff is sold at your own risk.
Getting back to topic, Corrientes & Suipacha still seems a good deal. I just paid 4. 3 pesos per 50mg generic Viagra tablet (about £0. 64 for any Brits reading). The nice chewy flavoured ones are just under 5 pesos each. I made a cost comparison purchase in the stix (Farmathena) and they worked out at 5. 5 pesos each.
Some other good buys at Corrientes & Suipacha include Testosterone Cream (which Tejano also mentioned, though his chemist apparently expects a prescription on the post I read. The Farmacity and Farmastore I tried also asked for scripts even on Viagra.). Major buyer-beware on this one. I've only tried it once before. Made me feel like I was 18 again. Doctors in the UK officially think its dangerous unless you are a private patient paying megsbucks (at which point they prefer different research findings.) US doctors seem more relaxed as they charge megabucks anyway LOL. Research and read up on the evidence yourself. As with Viagra only more so, side effects if you have certain conditions are potentially very serious. 190 pesos for 150g of 1% gel.
I've not seen generic cialis yet. Prices quoted for original branded are similar to the UK except you can get it without prescription. Another good buy is ranitidine, used for peptic conditions and acid stomach. The more effective, modern treatment (very common) is omeprazole. But ranitidine does the same thing and also potentiates Viagra.
Some people might not need this stuff, but if you want to shag six women in a day it helps even if you wouldn't otherwise. That, however, seems easier in Rio than in BsAs: but the medications are very much cheaper in BsAs.
Happy hunting!

Posts: 746I don't like to pile on, but, in addition to Peter's caution, note that if you need these drugs you also need a checkup and need to tell your doctor about your ED problem. Because ED can be a symptom of any number of really serious medical problems.

Posts: 143Talk to Doctor before use
Hey,
Not "deflate" any excitement over this thread, but from some reading I have done and discussion with a few friends, this stuff can be deadly if used by people with certain health problems or on some medicines like the little heart pills people carry and some blood pressure meds. Before buying the stuff make sure you have discussed with your doctor or discuss it with a pharmacist. Only thing worse than flying the sail at half mast is having the sale lead to a sail draped over your finally hard corpse as they pull you out of the resto.
