I went into Jaz tonight for the first time. I won't be vulgar about this, but I was REALLY unimpressed, I left within 1 minute. It was around midnight, is it better on other days or times?

My suggestion on the foreigner inflation is to learn spanish. If you speak moderate spanish and dress down, it can be hard to guess where you are from. People here are often surprised that I am american.

This is maybe for another thread but similar topic, whats with Kilkhenney charging to get in the door, some people get charged, others not, some nights they charge, others times they don't. Is there a legitimate system there, or are they just scamming foreigners or what? Several locals told me it shouldnt cost anything to get in there.
