How many provinces have YOU been to?
Could't make in Argentina? Nobody talked to you when you were trying to get into that society? Frustrating eh? Were they constatly asking you where were you from? (I am Superman! I came to saved the world!). Don't win Argentinian chicks being like that. The closest you got to Argentinian society was paying an street walker? Were you ignored?

Why are you so mad? Mr. Traveling the 24 provinces! What did you do in Argentina?

Lunfardo and Tumbero is only for the lowest of the classes,"Prison Slang" for the Negrada that permiates this beautiful city.

Don't get me wrong, Yiddish was born when the Nazis put all the Jewish people together in the camps; the Poles, Gypsies, Germans, Hungarians, etc, created a modern day Ebonics. Yiddish is only about 65 years old but Hebrew is 1000's of years old. This a a fucking Socialist country and along with that you get the inherent problems associated with Socialism.

On PAPER, Communism and Socialism work perfectly, but when it is applied it reeks of Corruption. A s a child when I received a gift that was marked " Industria Argentina " I cringed because I KNEW that it was a piece of shit. At times I am embarrassed to say that I am an Argentine!

In Italy the W. O. P. S have a half liter of wine during their lunch per union laws!

    Fuck ALL!

Just because it has a lot of physical beauty does not mean it isn't all fucked up economically. And a lot of the formerly good things have disappeared, such as good cheap steaks and $5 Clarin hookers.

No; I lived there for almost seven years but I left because it got too fucked up. Yes, I am fluent and in the dialect. I understand the essence and character of the society quite well, and it is deeply flawed. I also have a degree in Latin American history and have studied the Argentinean economy extensively. I fucked over 500 Argentinean women which also gave me an in depth cultural understanding.

A lot of my Argentinean friends are embarrassed by the corruption and inefficiency.

But it doesn't have trash and dog shit everywhere and the merchants are nowhere near as dishonest. I lived there and did not like it. The food and weather are both terrible and the women are worse than American women.

I have been to all those countries you mention. I have also been to every province in Argentina, every Spanish speaking country in South America, and every continent except Antarctica. Argentina has the most unfulfilled potential of any of the 34 countries I have visited.

Yes, the argentines are very nice people sometimes, in fact so nice that Juan Peron gave Heinrich Himmler 8000 BLANK Argentine passports to fill in as he wished. Argentina declared war on Germany about 2 days before the war was over, I think. Hell, in 1946 in Belgrano my mother's German teacher spoke PERFECT German. My grandfather, scratch that. I agree that Argentina is a gorgeous country with beautiful women and I am so happy that I was sent here for free but if you don't live in a high-rise in Puerto Madero you are VERY vulnerable to be a victim of crime.

My resto on Cordoba and 9 de Julio was broken into and the bad guys carved to " Boquetes" into Latin Express, sort of like Western Union. I immediately called Cronica and when Chronica comes EVERYBODY comes! I was on national television on 5 channels for 6 days! Great advertisment! FREE except for what they destroyed and stole from my lockers. The worst part about it is that I know who did it but he or one of the guys is in La Brigada so I was scared to death to testify.

Don't get me wrong Costco, sorry but I can never remember your name; this is a GREAT place to be if you have a Few Dollars More!

Barbed wire and traffic lights were invented in the United States, although traffic LANTERNS were first used in England. Don't know about dulce de leche. A town in Iowa is named after the inventor of barbed wire, Joseph Glidden. Álvaro Obregón used barbed wire formations to defeat Pancho Villa at the battles of Celaya and León, which turned the tide of the Méxican Revolution away from agrarian reform and towards an economy revolving around export agriculture and extractive industries.

    Good things about Argentina: Iguaz.

Do you live in Argentina? (Maybe you do!). Speak the language fluently (dialect included!) in order to communicate and understand the essence and character of the society you are living with?

Do all the Argentines are saying that Argentina is an "Fk-up" country? Or just pointing out the problems they are experiencing (just like people living in many others countries)

I am a very realistic person when it comes to solve problems, and although I agree with you that Argentina is facing lots of challenges, so other countries as well.

Talking about losing ground? How about Britain? What it was and what it is.

I was reading a book a couple of years ago about the "decadent society". British point the view of how things were changed in his "Empire".

Argentina is beautiful, so it is Germany, Australia, Venezuela, USA, Uruguay, and the rest!

As Goethe used to say. You want to know more? Well travel my friend!
    [/QUOTE]Argentines?

I remember when I was about 10 years old, an my father with three kids trying to make both ends meet and during a Christmas Eve, the landlord of the apartment he was renting, came to him handled a bunch of "pesos" and said This is for you to buy gifts for your kids!

That is how bad the argentines are, and my 'nano' personal point of view to qualify a country. A country that is so bad, that before, during, and after both World Wars people from all over the world (mostly "old" Europe) came to the welcoming country of Argentina and stayed there for the rest of their life.

Travel to Belgrano, Barrio Norte etc. And see how many embassies there are. No bad for a country that is so "Fk-up"!

Quote: I think it was Luis Rodríguez Zapatero (Ex prime minister of Spain) and representing the European community at that time, when Argentina had the 2001 crisis, and Europe was in good shape. He said (paraphrasing) We won't abandon Argentina. We will never forget what it has done for Europe.

I don't judge societies for the economic trend but for its trajectory.
