Clothed Dancers at Hippo Last Night:

All the girls at Hippo, dancers and hookers alike were all wearing clothes last night although they were "Daisy Dukes." Not bad but not quite the same thing as the dental floss. The manager told me that the measure was just in case the inspectors popped in. He also told me that a lot of the girls from Madahos and Black had tried to switch over to Hippo but that they were only hiring a handful of the applicants.

He fully expects Madahos to reopen after a lot of paperwork and somebody else told me that Black has already reopened. Not sure.

Catto's was full of Dominicans and Hook was about half Dominican but lively.

Florencia and her sister from Mendoza are now working at Hook for the guys that like 5 ft .10 in. Student / model types. Florencia is a very hot girl. A beast! PM me if you want her number.

Earlier hung out at Excedra with about 6 of the boys and one of the girls from the board. The very pretty and English speaking Pamelita Hot from Venezuela.

I really lose track after 5 or 6 drinks. I just mean to say it wasn't rushed, she didn't ask for any more $ pretty much hassle free. Turns out she lives a block from me, so I thought she was going home to her apt after, but who knows. Name was Sheyla, pretty good fun, but not nearly as good as the paraguaya so I haven't called her again.

That's one thing you could say about Hippo though, if you do somehow find a really good one, might be worth it to spend the extra 400 p the first time, then get her number and bypass the whole club scene from then on. I just haven't seen any girls in Hippo that are better or even as good as the top 4 or 5 I have taken from NP.

Was it really 1.5 hours in your apartment, or perhaps 1 h or 1 h10 min? Because apparently there's a rule, if you only buy a 400 peso drink, the chica must return to the club within 1.5 hours total (including travel time)(unless it's really late and the chica doesn't have to return).

Wow, I thought 400 was a lot.

I guess some people have pesos they know are going to be worth a lot less soon, so they are wasting them.

And of course I think everyone knows by now, if a girl tries to give you a USD price, make sure you tell her you have pesos, and the results will be much, much better.

The girls I have been finding at Newport have been better than the girls walking around at Hippo, at less than half the price. Too bad, since I do love to watch those dancers at Hippo, a lot nicer place to hang out.

I asked one girl how the dancers ever made any money, since I never saw anyone buy even one of them a drink, and she said they get a flat fee for dancing. I guess that's really what you are paying for when you pay that cover charge.

I refused to pay 250 p so the guy went down to 150, I went in, really liked the set up, love the bar with the girls dancing right there, a lot of my types dancing, but a lot less of my types walking around.

Ended up chatting to a cubana who asked for maybe 1200 at first? I said no chance, and we talked and I told her I'll pay 1200 total with bar fine, so when the waiter said 400 for the drink, I said to her, so 800 for you right? And she said yes no problem. And she stuck to the deal, hour and a half at my apt, good time, but 1200 is way too much, plus I paid 150 cover so 1350 total, that s crazy.

The dancers are very hot though (some of them) but no way in hell would I pay 400 p to talk to a girl who might not even leave with me, are they nuts? Does anyone actually pay that? Why?

So hippo is to go to when you just want a drink and to watch. I'll pay 150 to get in, no more, and I'll just watch the dancers. If I want to take a girl out I'll go to Newport and hope I can find a gem.

AP monger wingman and I started at triangle at 2am, then I finished up solo at Recoleta clubs 4am'ish.

Sounds like you started at Hippo / Recoleta, then finished up in triangle.

By time I got to Hippo 3:30am'ish, was only 15 chicas or so left.

A couple of us met up at Newport around 12:30am and walked over to Hippo at 1am, walked right in and sat next to the dance floor directly under the dancers on their stands.

Must have been around 25 dancers and at least 25 hookers, talked to a few that actually spoke very acceptable English, I was surprised. The waiter is a guy from BA that lived in Miami so his English is very good.

His name is Juan, just walk in and ask for Juan the waiter and you can avoid the 200p cover charge, get V. I. P service and he will honestly tell you if the dancer that you like will actually go home with you or not. Great guy, great service.

Tranny Alert! There is a blonde haired, nip and tucked full-on Sicko dancing and fucking clients! We were amazed by it's man made body but something told me that the face just was'nt right! Anyway, Juan told us the truth that it was a Dude!

We were there until about 3am and then we went to Catto's and Hook but there were very few girls in Hook or Catto's. Not even worth the price of admission. The door men even told us that there were very few girls inside.

Finished with a drink at Excedra around 4am and there were 2 or 3 hookers hanging around so it seems like the new "X" is hooker friendly after all.

Funny that we went to Newport, Hippo, Hook and Catto's and did not run into any of the other Boys!

Went in at late am yesterday, Saturday night. Forgot exact time but was after Madahos and before Blacks at close to 4am. So prob bit after 3:30am'ish.

Forgot entry, handed 200p and got some change back but didn't count.

Hippos had most amount of chicas working from all the clubs I hit this sat night (Cattos, Hook, Madahos, Hippo, and Blacks, in that order) 15 or so chicas roughly.

Only two I thought was worth propositioning, call them solid 8s. Opening bid from both was 1500, I didn't get chance offer first. They threw that out right at beginning of convo. One claimed TLN for that but never got around to defining what amount of time that meant as both had immediate deal killers of no BBBJ, which was only requirement I have.

Other immediately lowered to 1200 for couple hours but no BBBJ killed deal from my end. She lowered again to 1000 but politely told her cost wasn't issue at that point, just her no list.

Hippos is least frequented club I've been in this trip since aug 2012, so will go back more on normal weekdays and at prime hours midnight to 1am to check what norms are during those days / hours.

I'd summarize that for now, in Jan on a sat night, clubs are pretty dead option.

I agree. I suggest a membership fees of 1 us$ a year, just to keep the general public from viewing the forum.

Yep, this is a public forum and searchable by Google, so you need to apply some care what you post. Awhile back I weighed the pros and cons of posting reviews here, but it's the only board with decent info on Argentina and I concluded the pros outweighed the cons. But I think about the details I post. This is the only public board I do so, I have never and likely never will post on Jackson's other public board, there are other private boards for other places. In fact Jackson's boards appear to be the exception, most monger boards I've seen require a username and password to access reviews. I wish Jackson would take AP private.

Should rename it ArgentinaPublic? Having said that, I never would have found the site if it hadn't fetched up at random in a Google search on some other non P4P subject, and I might not have bothered to join up if I hadn't seen at least part of what it had to offer. I don't post on other sites and doubt if I ever will, at least until I've got more time on my hands. It was the quality of what I found on AP back then that made me want to be a part of it.

A half way house would be to make the areas such as the Visitor Information public, and keep the core mongering forums and the search functionality private. Like some chicas' pay to view websites where you get a free preview of what's on offer. People would still be able to see what AP was about and members could post without being totally exposed in the public domain. Ok, I guess there's the revenue the site gets from advertising to consider. But you have to wonder why so few new members post these days. Is it because the information's all there already and they just can't be bothered? Or because AP's become like a social club and they're worried about getting flamed? Or are they worried that with more and more people becoming IT literate, owning computers and using the net, anyone out there can read the stuff they post and trace it back to them?

Clearly there's nothing to stop anybody signing up with a user name and no doubt the boliche chicas and top end escorts who've studied English are doing this. But that takes a conscious effort rather than just Googling on a venue name and seeing what pops out.

Not unhappy with the situation – everyone makes their own decision about what they do or don't post. You make your bed and then you have to lie in it. I'm more careful now about what I post, compose it offline and usually wait 48 hours before I commit. It did get me thinking though. No problem about naming chicas who are rip-offs or provide bad service but it might make me hold back on any who were good people or who I had thoughts of repeating with.

When it comes to a bad experience though, there should be little reason not to post the information. It is a marketplace afterall, with buyers and sellers. Glad you shared the info on Carol from Uruguay.

Agreed on Madahos, I found it the best of the Recoleta clubs.
