About Landlines and Privados :
The landline STAYS with the apartment forever from what I understand so the number 1 234 5678 is attached to such and such apartment in BA.
When a Privado goes out of business and the next tennant takes over they keep the same number.
They also get the old Privados clients too if they are lucky or good bullshiters on the phone.
I know this guy that owns about 22 apartments in and around the Micro Center and he ONLY rents them out to people to be used as Privados.
They usually come with 2 phone lines, beds, mirrors, TV, accommodating neighbors and police.
Here's the nice part :
The Landlord rents the units by the week at about 4 times the market rate.
About $8800 a month for a $2200 a month unit.
Great business sense.

The real issue for me seems to be I'd agree the odds you getting the girl in photo looking even reasonably close in realty is pretty low, but disagree so far that it's a totally different human being passed as the photo gal.
But caveat is pv gals I've tried this trip are all very recently posted to sites. After few months date of orig photos, odds that chick is even there anymore at the pv goes way down

Unless you speak decent Spanish (I do not) , calling them is usually a waste of time.
