Hopefully the member will take him up on his offer and will update us to whether he follows through on his promise. To be honest, selling an apartment is not difficult, especially right now, and I find that his whining about being swindled or whatever seems to have no basis. He paid 60K or whatever, and got a sunny top floor apartment in Recoleta. AND? Thats $1500/ m2, which is at or below the going rate. I have a sneaking suspicion that Saint knows that and is willing to buy the place because its worth at least that or more and he knows it.
Yall can go on hating Saint if you want, but when I was buying a place I spoke with him on the phone a few times and he was always helpful to me, without him getting anything in return. I know he really gets on people's nerves, but the truth is his personality flaws aside. I consider him to be a pretty standup guy. Just my two cents.

If he is even a mediocre strategist, he won't respond. You left him no way out, unless he posts some blather reiterating his comments in his previous post. Always reminds me of the famous "no way out question" you can pose to your buddy in front of friends,"Hey Billy, did you quit beating your wife yet?"

Venues: 398Hi Saint,
I'm always amazed how that you don't read this forum any more, but every time somebody mentions your name, within 24 hours you magically appear with a defensive post, and always with the same intro: "I don't read the board anymore but a client told me that XYZ posted something about me."
The first couple of times I observed this phenomenon I thought it was just a coincidence, but this time I waited to see how long after somebody wrote the word "Saint" for you to react, and sure enough the next day there was your defensive post, complete with your classic challenge finale.
Anyway, I just have to ask: Is there any truth to the rumor I heard from one of your clients that you actually pay a staff member to search the Internet everyday looking for any mention of your name specifically so that you can challenge whatever was said about you?
Really, it's a brilliant strategy for suppressing criticism, and I've watch you employ it a number of times on the regular travel forums. If anyone posts anything critical about you, you return fire with a full broadside, typically posting long detailed explanations about how the original complainant is all wrong and it's all their fault and they didn't listen to you and they didn't take your advice and they had unrealistic expectations, and always the post ends with an aggressively worded challenge. Like I said, a brilliant strategy.
Nevertheless, I am curious about one thing: Have you ever been wrong? I mean, have you ever made a mistake, or provided less than perfect service, or ever had a client that you felt didn't really receive your best effort?
Good Luck.
Cheers,
Jackson

Posts: 841I don't read the board anymore but a client told me that this Member1036 posted something negative about me. For the record, I told him that I would purchase it back from him the very first day he bought it.
I would gladly purchase it from you. If you are really serious about selling it, PM me or email me and I can arrange to purchase it ASAP from you.
This is a serious post so if your post is serious, let me know and as I mentioned, I'll purchase it immediately from you. I am looking to buy up as much property like that as I can find.
In fact, I will pay your portion of all legal fees and closing costs that you would normally have to pay and you would have $0 in realtor fees that a realtor would normally charge you 3% of the sales price. I can probably even arrange with AFIP (Argentina IRS) to have the proceeds wired to your USA account. I can also arrange you to get a power of attorney so if you didn't even want to make the trip here, I can arrange all of this without you even coming to Argentina. So if you really want out, this would be a good chance for you. Good luck.
Cheers.

Posts: 77If I can't sell it or think I can get close to what I paid for it which was 60K then I would consider a long term lease to you horndogs.

Can you give the square meter size of the inside and the balcony separately for comparison purposes.

Posts: 77Need Help in Selling an Apartment in BA
Made a big mistake by buying in BA. It has been a nightmare from the start till now. I don't want to go into details but it is tough trying to get a real estate agent to even look at my apartment let alone getting a so called decent price.
I have been in RE business in US for 25 + years and buying in BA has been a helluva experience that I don't want to repeat.
Now all I want to do is get out. Anyone got recommendations can PM me.
I have a 45 meter 1 bed 1 bath on Pena in Recoleta. Top floor in good condition.
