This search idea is probably in here somewhere, but I could not find it. If it is flawed, shame on me.
Do a Google advanced "image" search and enter apartment phone numbers in the "related to any of the words" field, insure the filter is off. Should display pics and the association between apartments / agencies, plus the related reviews for some of the ladies if they are available: foro. For me, it kind of helped trying to figure out the 52 aliases the girls seemed to love.

Posts: 754This is the link to the yellow pages. If a number is not here, it's because the owner of the line has explicitly required to be unlisted.

Posts: 96There's also http://www.telexplorer.com.ar, where you have to click the "Telefono" button, and then enter: 011 in the first box, and the 8-digit number without the hyphen in the other box.
In google, you can search for cellphone numbers like this: 15-xxxx-xxxx or 15x-xxx-xxxx.
Landlines: xxxx-xxxx.
This will bring up any other ads from the same girl / apartment, or even more photos for you to analyze. Sometimes you can find photos with less photoshop than on platynum / gemi2/ etc.

Thanks a lot. Why I was going through this excercise was so that I can avoid paying the gringo price. But looks like I do not have a choice. I will have to pay the over inflated prices to the girls. What the heck. I will be in BA for 4 days and I better have some fun. Back to the drawing board I. E. Roxanna.

Posts: 131If you tried entering the number in the manner suggested by El Greco and it did not work, it is probably an unregistered (undocumented) number.
I just went thru an exercise here in Rosario for 2 weeks. After some research, the best I can determine is that many of the apartments have illegal phones installed by phone company employees clandestinely for under the table money.
Here, on the order of 50% of the phone numbers from the newspaper and the web appear to be unregistered, or registered to the name of the last legal holder of the number, not the current apartment.
This is just another of the little roadblocks thrown in our way, along with the false photos, lying descriptions, etc.
I haven't given much thought to what might be done about it, I don't like apartments anyway.

I tried what you told me but still it says no records found. I know that number is a land line number.
