Probably not. Even with an account banks have limited space for these boxes and everyone here has one. I asked at HSBC on Callao in Recoleta once and they said no, with an account at the bank.

Is it possible to rent a safety deposit box from a bank without having a permanent Argentinian address? I realize many of the hotels have safety deposit boxes, but I'm leaning toward renting an apartment. I'm thinking it might be useful to have a safety deposit box in case I become a frequent visitor.
