    La Gran Via De Mayo

Between April 24 to May 24 the city of BsAs has been having free live concerts here on Avenida de Mayo, between Avenida de Julio and Florida (on weekends)

Concerts have varied from tango, flamenco, to singing and dancing, etc. Anyways, yesterday they had a Jewish festival. Unfortunately things got out of control: Apparently some armed protesters approached the viewing area and began to fight with the crowd. It's been all over the newspapers and the news today.

When I got there, I saw five people on the ground with handcuffs. Some of the weapons I saw where some clubs and chains. One fucker even brought his nun chuks to the party (WTF! Anyways, the news is reporting injuries to several people, including a cop.

    See pics of arrests below.

On a related note, I did see a fight at the corner of Corrientes and Riobamba on Saturday night on my way to dinner. It was beating for the ages: you know you're in deep shit when you see the cop at that same corner running in the opposite direction of the fight!

What's up with BsAs "finest" getting their asses kicked all the time?

    Happy Holidays to All

Seat was fixed, only after they saw what had happened. Argentines are cheap.

They also saw that I needed a desk for my computer. I may stay in the same building, because I had better offers from other owners that have apartments in the Building. One owner is from Bolivia. She lives most of the time in N.Y. and speaks English.

But I must Learn more Spanish for the better deals.

    Our day at the Match

Sidney, Big Boss Man and myself bought the cheap seats. 15p each. We never sat in them, Our Prince Sidney talked his way into the Stella Artois Tent. Free Beer and Food. We sat in the shade. Great Fun and lots of pretty chicas.

This weekend the tickets start at 15p, next weekend they start at 25p, then 35p the following weekend. That is the sunny side of the field. Shady side we were told start at 200p for the first weekend and go up. Two matches, two different fields. The afternoon is the best. Get there around 3:30 and watch the end of the first match or just the chicas.

I believe the first match starts at 2:30pm and the second around 4:30pm.

In the early match the temperature can be very hot. Bring a hat and water.

But if it rains they do not play.
