The "protest" of yesterday (March 24th) in fact it's (official holiday) regarding the take over of Argentina by the militars in 1976.

The celebration act happened in Plaza de Mayo, groups after that spreaded in the center.

Anarchist's on the streets of BsAs.

My apartment is on Cordoba the opposite end to Exedra, this afternoon after 2 good sessions last night I was woken up my some chanting and then the sound of glass breaking.

Approx 50-60 people (anarchist's) most with their faces covered where attacking the building opposite me. The company's name is Techint after doing a google search; I found that this company is involved in the mining industry. With testosterone levels high the group proceeded to attack the hotel adjacent and unfortunately innocent people going about their daily business.

There was approx 12 police officers escorting the anarchist's but as soon as the trouble started they scattered. The heavy water cannon was soon covering the group in a blue dye as they charged along Cordoba, now preceded by the police officers in riot gear.

I'm only used to seeing such behaviour at football matches in England not on the streets in BSAS, still an interesting afternoon.
