Master Yoda is a Senior Member on the International Site, and maybe a paying member, not like some of us that just want free info.
If your are interested in what he posts, check it.
I did not and I don't care.

Posts: 133I really like the wiki idea Jackson, that would be excellent.
I recently did my first trip to BA. To all the newbies, Read the board the answers are there, some may need a little clearing up. Search works.
When you get to BA meet up with some fellow mongers and they will probably help you out more than all your reading the site did. This helped me more than anything.
The last week of my trip I met 3 guys in New Orleans they needed help getting laid, I talked with them for 30 minutes and they were set. I saw them 2 days later they bought me a drink for the help with a smile on there face.

I'm going to make a prediction. When you show up in Buenos Aires, you won't post anything for everybody else to use. Maybe you will post another question or two, or seek a meet-up where you can get together with other mongers, but when it comes to info about mongering there will be nothing.
Don't get this wrong - you could very well be a nice guy, loved by everyone who knows you, but if you're like 99% of the first-time posters on this board who ask questions, you'll take what you can get and disappear into cyberspace. I hope you prove me wrong, and that when you get to BsAs you post lots of interesting stuff.

Hi Jackson and all,
While I genuinely appreciate the website for all its help and compilations, I also feel that some members can be a bit more cordial like you mentioned rightly. I mentioned the fact that I am coming to BsAs for the first time and as such to expect me to post a report upfront would be really a joke. I cannot post reports if I never ever have stepped into Argentina.
I would be posting reports once I have a personal experience of the whole thing. I only was checking if someone would be around so that we can meet for a few drinks and make some new friends. And that I feel is quite cordial from my side. I would like to thank WorldTraveller69 for his message. Again please note that I am not offending anyone by this post.
Cheers.

The permanent solution is two-fold.
First, install a wiki module for vBulletin (which has just now been released) that will allow all members to collaborate on a master copy of a "Mongers Guide to Buenos Aires". This one document could bring a lot of information that is disbursed throughout the forum together in one document that would greatly aid in educating new members.
Second, balance the inequity between contributors and readers by offering the readers a different way to contribute in the forum of a paid subscription option. Simple concept: Support the forum by contributing content or support the forum by buying a subscription.
In the mean time, I'm only suggesting that we might consider perhaps being a little more cordial.
Thanks,
Jackson

Frankly, the greater danger is for guys like Punter127, or even myself, to stop posting anything useful, since we don't feel like answering the same repeated questions over and over for people who typically don't ever provide anything of value in return.

Venues: 398Greetings everyone,
I agree with what Hunt99 and others are saying, but I'm correct in my assertion that "you could find a less sarcastic way of telling them this."
Maybe one reason why new members don't post additional reports is because they felt a sense of inhospitality in the responses to their initial inquiries?
Thanks,
Jackson

I'm a newbie, as a matter of fact I will arrive to BA for the first time on Friday. I have to say that everyone on this board went out of their way to help me with info on the forum and I'm. I hope to be able to pay back one day.
I have to admit that no matter how much you read, it could not come even close to the personal advise that you receive from senior members. Thanks and you are all great!

As a newbie to the board, I have read just about every post possible. That said, while clearifying some issues, it really muddles others. Just when I think there is a private apart with a great chica, I read 4 opposing ideas about the girl, the mamasan, the price, the services. Then once you have that figured out then you learn her name is Sue on one board, Aya on another, Bambi on the escort site, and Lolita at Francesca 33 3.
You old timers, vets of the scene know it well and have learned the system by trial and error. Newbie mongers like myself who only have 3-4 days to play inbetween work don't want to waste time, seed and money playing trial and error. So while I have garnered some great info. Staying at the Baez apt, Using Ana to pick me up and give me a tour and getting Roxanne to help organize, its still a game to play to figure out the right chica. Just sayin.
