Thanks to all for the advice here and in my PM's. Re locutorios. Now that I've had my shoes re-soled, I can start relaxing.

I haven't been here for about 4 years and don't recall having this problem before. Maybe it is something new. Thanks again. Speedy

Hi,

According to the local regulations, all adults have the right to ask for the unblocking of any public computer, that has a default filtering. So, go to the front desk of any locutorio and ask:

"Por favor, quiero una computadora sin filtro de contenidos"

(you can even write this down in a bill and show it to the locutorio employee)

I always do this and never found any reluctance to do it.

If you are in Centro area they most likely are blocked.

There is a great place across from San Martin Plaza on Santa Fe, near the Circulo Militar. Just tell them to turn off the filter. They speak English. Tell them you would like either computers 7, 8, or 9. Go to the back and go downstairs. Closed Saturday. Open 8:30 to 8 or 9pm. Sunday after 10am.

Second best place is across from Galeria Pacifico on Cordora between San Martin and Florida in part of the old Harods building. The chicas are great and will turn it off for you. Or you can do it yourself. Just click on the filter box and hit enter a few times. Or just watch what the chicas do it first. Closed Sunday. Saturday, open from 10am to 2pm. Monday to Friday 10am to 7 or 8pm. Tell them the old guy with the short grey beard sent you with mucho besos.

It is right next door to the farmacia where you can get Viagra, etc. See the Viagra Thread.

Also ask Ramiro at L'Alliance about the Locutorio next to them. He knows the password. Open 10am to 10pm most of the time.

The site was working in some of the locutorio I visited but in all of them, when I went the next day it was blocked. In one locutorio the attendant came and stood behind me while I was using it.

Just tell the guy you want to access an adult site and to take the filter off. I did it many times.

Hey Speedy, Just tell the person thats working in the Locutorio to take off the filter. It won't be a problem they always have the filters on for the children.
