    Yup. I was there last year. Not a bad downtown place with OK food but lacks that atmosphere of San Telmo (as well as the price) No chance of meeting any females here. If you are in the hood and want tango lite and before 10pm and you are bored this place might do. Or for you romatics, grab a girl from Santa Fe 1707. Fuck her in the restraunt during dinner and bring her a short 2 blocks back. May be the cheapest Tango-Fuck-Dinner-Date without having an actual girlfriend in BA The whole thing should cost about the same as one overpriced girl from Blacks.

    Thumbs up Clasica y Moderna

    I went there last night to see the Esteban Morgado Tango Quartet (also recommended. The show cost AR$30.

    The place is a comfortable, brick-walled space at Callao 892 (y Cordoba) which is also a bookstore.

    I had a very nice Lomo with a small bottle of Malbec for $70AR. The bar waiter spoke enough english and was very attentive.
