    First time Post

Interesting forum. I have enjoyed knowing the ins and out of this city. I had ventured to Gysells Apartment about two weeks ago and had an excellent time with Veronica. What is interesting is that everyone here has had a similar experience. Well cudos to her and gysell for running a tight ship.

Thanks, WW! Great info. Planning now for next year. Never been and can't wait.

    Btw,

My experience has been (at least when trying to do these things):

buy Jackson a drink and / or dinner,

-meet up with some fellow AP'ers (buy them a drink too)
I soon found myself entertained and figuratively up to my eyebrows in trim (hat tip to Eddie for the terminology) and with the assistance of cunning linguists like Miami Bob, literally (still trying to get that smell out of my eyebrows) Fortunately, they didn't let me drink enough to go to Checkers Pub with Ex.

    More on the Latter

If you want an inexpensive but clean hotel in the Recoleta on Callao at Santa Fe the Hotel Wilton is about $65-95 per night with breakfast. They have a website: hotelwilton.com. I stayed there this March and found it satisfactory. I did not attempt to bring in any chicas since I was only going to stay one night until my apt. Was ready.

Another very satisfactory apt / hotel is the Apart Hotel located essentially next door to the Hotel Wilton. It is an apartment building that was converted at least 10 years ago for short term rentals. It has both One and two bedroom units for about $100US per night but it has been remodeled since I stayed there and I do not know their rates. See their website at administracioncallao. Com. The two bedrooms units have two bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, and living room with TV etc. The staff is very helpful. I have rented the two bedroom units for my self and for friends. No problem with bring in chicas.

Finally a good rental service is Buenos Aires Habitat. See their website at buenosaireshabitat. Com. Silvia is my contact with this services and I have used them on five occasions and have found the units very nice. I have stayed in the Recoleta, Palermo Hollywood and Palermo Soho.

I generally make my reservations directly with the hotels over the phone after checking out the prices with the travel websites. Sometimes you will get a better rate or room when dealing direct. Most hotels or rental services have someone who speaks English top assist you.

As an aside, follow WW advice and you will have a fabulous visit to BsAs.

Enjoy you visit and good luck.

Somehow they got the seasons all backwards down there. July is the dead of winter (seen it snow once) and January is warm enough to melt your face off (big part of why everyone evacuates the city for January (if not longer)

I believe the biggest tourist season is the Spring (Sept.-Nov. I have found March-May very nice, too. However, I have found that I enjoy this city anytime of year (although I have never been in January)

Flights and hotels are very subjective things. Do you want the best deal, nonstop, etc.

You might want to use orbitz or one of the other websites mentioned in the travel thread. As for hotels, I have usually stay at the same two places (although I plan to only rent apartments in the future) and book directly on their sites (although I do a quick check on hotels. Com to make sure I am getting a good price) I have booked last minute using hotels. Com, when I couldn't get into my favorites and I have landed at EZE (without a hotel reservation) and walked into a couple. This can be a little risky in that during the peak of tourist season it can be difficult to find a room (at any price)

Knowing what I know today, if I was booking my first trip to Bs As, I'd:

-plan to stay for at least a week,.

-rent an apartment from one of the well-reviewed and trusted groups (by this forum) in the neighborhood where I planned to spend most of my evening time,

-Book Fred / Silver Star to collect me at EZE and deliver me to my hotel (I have never used his service or met him but reviews are good and for a newbie, I think it would be helpful)

-make an exhaustive list of the chicas I want to see (see note below)

-In advance, I would read about Argentina's culture, etc (so I wouldn't have to waste anytime on it, once in country)

While I was in town, I would make sure to do the following:

-buy Jackson a drink and / or dinner,

-meet up with some fellow AP'ers (buy them a drink too)

-Go to TL's resto (meet TL, of course - buy him a drink too or give his dog a biscuit)

-Do the trifecta: biloche, privado, independente (as often as possible)

    -See lots of chicas.

Making the list. Get a thumbdrive, follow the instructions on the post I made eons ago using truecrypt to create a hidden, secure drive (that also is a conduit to the web so none of your surfing data will ever reside on the computer that you are using) Create an excel work sheet and prioritize chicas with:

    -names / aliases.

    -services.

    -special features, etc.

    -website (hyperlink)

    -pricing info from AP.

-note whether or not you found reviews of the particular chica on AP (if you don't have reviews, classify as TOFTT)

-location information (can also create a google map with all of them on it)

For flights and hotels, when is peak season in Argentina? Same as North America, or the opposite because of the whole southern hemisphere thing?

My first time visitng B. A. And was wondering what the typical dress style was for guys mongering in the Recoleta area. I don't want to overdress or underdress. I was be there next week and was also wondering if it gets a little chilly at night in Feb.

    By the way, great site.

About the only time I use Internet chicas is for Sundays. If you find one you like - doing the Sunday late lunch, followed by a couple of hours of afternoon dessert is cool. For me, even arranging the night before, the club girls, etc. Have been 50% unreliable to be availbable / show up on Sundays.

Arranging a few days before goes a long, long ways.

Some privados are open on Sunday as well, see the private apartment section.

    Sundays are tuff,

Thats usually my rest day and used to build up my sperm count. There are a number of girls that are required to show up for their shifts at varrious clubs, but for the most part their substandard chica's.

For good service on a Sunday, its best to make an appointment Friday or Saturday, then call to confirm Sunday morning.

    Any day but Sunday

After all these years, I just discovered why Thursday is the best night; I guess one can always learn something new. It takes a real monger-pro to find something on Sunday, though. The only way I've found to do that is by prior arrangement, and even that is iffy.
