    Thanks for the reply Dirk.

I remember it being in the San Telmo area but I could have sworn it was at street level. With a longish bar on the left handside.

    Mongers,

I happened to stumble into this place about a year and a half ago and it is located on Pasaje San Lorenzo directly across from the "casa minima" in San Telmo. It is down a flight of stairs in a basement and has a red light outside. Indeed, the place was filled with filipino sailors ogling over the ugly stock of low-end Paraguayan and provincial Argentine chicas. The beer was extremely cheap, maybe 4 or 5 pesos for a liter of Brahma. The were maybe 1-2 doable chicas in the place.

    Suerte,

    Seaman's Club

I was in Buenos Aires about 3 years ago and in the evening we went to a bar that had many chica's in there. There were some locals there also but mainly crew form the cruise ships. They referred to it as the Seaman's Club. I believe it was near the San Telmo area of B. A. But I am not 100%.

Can anyone help me out if they know of this place?
