If you ever go to Mar del Plata, you should play in the centro. There were 5 tables when I went.

Posts: 264I would have to do some digging for a few of the places but to start with.
Richmond Billard and Chess Club on Lavalle one or two blocks before Corrientes downstairs.
On sundays and many afternoons they used to play chess in Belgrano (take the train from retiro get off in belgrano (second station) go up the park in front of you and right there.
Or just contact the argentina chess federation.
FEDERACIÓN ARGENTINA DE AJEDREZ.
Personería Jurídica Nº 352.389/808
Avenida Varela 1237 - Tel. (54-11) 4632-0003 - Buenos Aires - República Argentina.
Or take a look at these links.

I know this might sound weird, but does any of you "locals" know where the chessplayers hang out in BA? Any cafés, parks or perhaps a mall? I would be particular grateful if someone could give a hint of where to find Bent Larsen. As far as I know he still lives in BA.
Thanks :)
