Following the advice from funguy I asked ticketfootball com for a ticket.

Yes, they have tickets. But the price is the same as with tangol com: 400 USD!

Maybe this is because I am mailing from germany, maybe that is the real price, I do not know. I am a real soccer fan and I know it is a once in a lifetime experience, but there is enough time to do some more research.

I assume I can buy a ticket for 400 usd even one day before the match.

I want to see the soccer match between Boca Juniors and River Plate in the Bombonera Stadium on the 19th of April.

I know that this will be the " match of the year " in the Argentinian Soccer League, that is why it is difficult to get tickets and they are expensive. So far I have got an offer from tangol com, they want 400 usd in cash for one ticket.

Also I know that there are not so much soccer fans on the board, may be someone has an idea where else I can buy a ticket which is not a fake. Any help is appreciated.

My experience is that it is a tough ticket to get unless you go through a service. My guess is to be prepared to pay at least $200US for the ticket and transport. A great experience for any futbol fan. If you are lucky maybe you can score a ticket off MercadoLibre that ain't fake, but the risk doesn't seem worth it to me.

If anybody has any other ideas I would love to hear them.

I went three years ago and paid 150 pesos, and that included transport from the centre. I'll try and find the contact number and let you know. I bought it from couple of kids with a small office somewhere in Recoletta. 400 U$ is ridiculous. Inflation hasn't been that bad.

I've used the service listed below several times for hard to get tickets. They pick you up, escort you to the game and take you home. That's a very useful service when going to a Boca home game.
