Monday night at Madahos. I went there only for drinks and check out the girls. Since I walked some guys want to escort me into Blacks and Solid Gold and I almost did. That was before 11pm and the place was almost empty with a lot of waiters around. The entry fee is 25 with a coupon you can get outside the door. All waiter ignore me when I walked across the bar. That´s bad but I think nobody speaks english. But at least a guy point me to the bartender who speaks good english, and is very courteous even before I gave her 4 peso tips. Now I know why I was charged double for my drink in Blacks because you have to show your receipt you get for the entrance fee. This good looking female bartender has the decency to ask me for the receipt. I also asked at the entrance that the drink is 25 and for the lady is 35. That´s the only person you are sure that speaks english.

There were only a few guys and a few girls there. But at either 11 pm or 11:30, loads of girls started to arrive and change. I think there must be 50 or above. Again most of them looks average. Can´t compare with Blacks because in Blacks I´m at the outside end of the bar so I can see too much inside, but at Madahos I sat at the inside end of the bar so I can see too much lining along the two bars. But I think the dress code is different. I would say most girls at Blacks can walk into the hotel with you with a jacket on. Most girls at Blacks have to change first, and they did.

At first I think it could be better than Blacks. I saw a woman in a catholic school girl uniform, very short skirt with only 1 quarter of the normal shirt, just covering her tits. It meets most of my requirement and she´s pretty too with makeup. But it´s a bit far stretched as she isn´t that young. Nice figure but looked like I´m with my big sister. Some pretty slim figures sitting on the couch which is fairly dark. The better looking ones doesn´t show much stomach nor legs. Some have the slim silloette of Asians that I reminded myself not to try that here.

When I was one of three guys at the bar a Julia Robert lookalike came to hussle me for drink. Otherwise it´s peaceful and nobody comes over. At first I was tempted. She has decent legs and boobs but I reminded myself that I cannot manage. We don´t understand a word from each other and she´s also looked old enough to be my big sister. She doesn´t look bad with makeup. So I let her invite me down to a table. But she molested me so much that I had to call the waiter to tell her that I´m here only for drinks, too dam tired. Then I watched the show sitting alone half hidden at the table by the bar. The stripper at Blacks kick ass. Both strippers at Madahos wasn´t my cup of tea. When I was doing the X file smoking man impression, an old woman came over. She talked with me in english. I was being polite but prepare myself to tell her that I´m not interest in her. She surprised me by asking me what girl I want. That´s a good idea when no waiter speaks english. I told her very clearly that I don´t want to take anybody out but I´m happy to have a drink with the TWO girls practically standing next to me.

Girl 1 I spotted a long time ago sitting in the dark. Looking back what attracted me was her Joana Lumley deep eyes, as in the Avenger repeats, not in Absolute Fabulous. Intense even she sits low in the dark shadows. Looked like a leggy pretty young girl. Girl 2 annoyed me a lot when she practically standing next to me swaying to the music, and I can´t stop watching her slim long legs in her mini. She offered 150us and I´m not surprised she agreed with 100us. No full service as half the girls don´t that I´m told, that would be the younger girls.

At the end 4 lady drink plus my own. My translator asked for tips for everybody for their company too. Everybody is happy including me. Last time I pulled that stunt in California that hurt my pocket very deep.

I forget to tell you that when I was holding 4 legs in 2 hands, the wood came from no where. It must be the residue levita. So I actually took girl 1 out, and half promised to take girl 2 out tomorrow. I can´t pronunce their names. After she changed clothes, we go out of the shadows and I regretted a little bit. Her face is not that smooth and her jaws... think of the face of the guy whom Madonna put wax onto... but think in a very good way, can´t you? Madahos provide transportation too. When I arrived in an unmarked car with company my hotel security man opened the door for me. I think when you bring girls to a hotel they have to do some paper work or something. But my hotel is excellent and I never need to. They all know me from day one. All girls are a little bit hesitated to walk straight through, either the only front desk man looked down as if we don´t exist, or almost wanted to walk us to the lift.

BTW, does anyone knows of an internet place with cafe near Recoleta? I´m desperate for coffee as I missed all my breakfast. I also need privacy as I can visit many other sites apart from the decent WSG forum. I had better things to do than posting in WSG. Got the hint?

US$300 for 2 hours!
That´s a good headline isn´t it? Confirmed. I think that´s what the Brazilian girl started with at Blacks on Sat night and another girl do the same to me at Madahos on Monday night. But I think that´s the price they want to go home with me for the night, with some negiotiation.

Regarding service of the clubs you have to excuse that everbody is in town and the hotels are full last week and perhaps not any better this week. In Blacks I didn´t see any waiter at all. I only saw the English speaking waitess when I sat down with Emily with her 60 peso drink. I think they might be overwhelmed on SAT and the layout is indeed poor and dosen´t help the service. That´s the price you have to pay in central Recoleta.

Instead of hitting the spa, too expensive and I don´t want my little brain asking for a handjob when I don´t want to, I called an internet girl instead as recommemded by a WSG member, Angeles. I asked her if she speaks English and she said she didn´t. That wasn´t expected. But she started to speak in good English. She slipped that 'I have this girl', or 'one of the girls', something like that. I asked her name immediately and she said Angeles. Her English is good until I asked her whether it is complete service. How convenient. Anyway I decided to see and that´s only 100 peso if I let her in. I always have to open the door when the lift comes up because they will get lost. I saw the back of a short blonde with dull blonde hair outside so I opened the door. She turned around and and it was an 50 year old woman. Lucky before I asked her to leave I realized that she would be my neighbour. Angeles came short after. I don´t why I let her stay. She has a young body but more like a fuller thai girl. She isn´t pretty and wear no makeup, a lot don´t because I guess it would be very expensive, they are guarding the farmacy like banks. As a customer who has been to Madaho's many times, I don't agree with your assessment of the place. As I've posted my opinions on this previously, I don't think there's any great need to debate the issue. However, thanks for your report, it is detailed and helpful, even in the portions which I don't agree with.

In general, the place seemed like an American stripper bar with bathroom attendants, waiters in tuxedos, and employees with arrogant American attitudes. They seem to communicate that you should spend a lot of money and just be glad they let you in the door! If I want that attitude, I would not travel 7,000 miles to Argentina!

Here’s a review:

Physical Environment (Very Good):

Madaho is probably the best laid out club in town. Unlike Black and other clubs, it is fairly light, so you can see the girls. Also, it is set up with seats near the stage and standing room behind the seats. Again, this also beats Balck, which has seats along the wall with guys standing between you and the stage.

Girls (Average):

On the whole, the girls at Madaho were average. There were a few cuties there, as well as a few dogs. A few girls were clearly over age 35, perhaps even older than 40. We arrived around 2am on Friday night and saw the two or three hot girls leaving with some guys. Perhaps, we thought later, one needs the get there around 12:30 to get the best selection. After subsequent trip to clubs around town, we learned that these places all fill in between 12:30 and 2:00, and guys do not stay a long time drinking and talking with girls. The pattern seems to be: get in, pick a girl, negotiate, and get out quickly.

Attitude of Girls, Staff, and Management (Very Poor):

The staff at this place sucks. Truly, they were awful. It was enough to turn our initial positive impression of the place completely around. When you enter, you pay 25 or 30 pesos, and are told that your first drink is included in this cover charge. They clearly told us that the first drink was inflated because it included the cover charge, but subsequent drink would be cheaper. This was logical, too. The place would certainly make money on drinks if we could sit there for an hour or two and get drunk. Also the girls would have a better chance of getting picked up and negotiating a better deal if we were drunk. Additionally, the place did not have so much traffic that they needed a quick turnover. So we ordered more drinks, and more drinks, and more drinks, only to find out that they were the same price as the initial cover charge and drink: 25 or 30 pesos just for a beer! When we mentioned that we were told by the front door staff that only the first drink was 30 pesos and subsequent drinks were cheaper, the bar and wait staff laughed and told us that it was our problem not theirs. If someone explained the pricing rules, we would have accepted it. What really chafes my ass is that they deliberately tried to deceive us! The girls on this Friday night also thought they were worth more that they really were, starting the negotiations at 400 pesos!

If the girls were hot, they could get away with it. However, the girls were only average and there are plenty of other places in town with average girls. Plus, the girls, cover charges, and drinks at the other places are cheaper and the staffs are much more helpful. Therefore, I suggest you AVOID MADAHOS. It is not worth it.

Other Clubs:

Solid Gold:

Next door to Madahos. Place is right out of Las Vegas in the 1970s with mirrored ceilings and lots of gold paint. Grils are average, but you can always find one girls among 50. It costs 25 pesos to get in, which includes TWO drinks. Subsequent drinks are 25 pesos apiece, but they tell you this up front. Staff is VERY helpful. A hostess and a waitress stopped by our table 2 or 3 times to explain things to us in English. You must but the girl a 30 peso drink before you leave with her (maybe two drinks, but they explain it all to you).

Affaire:

In Recoleta, other side of cemetery from Madahos and Solid Gold. Girls are average, a step down from Black, Madahos, and Solid Gold. 25 or 30 pesos to get in, but that includes THREE drinks. Small, dark, bar set up with bar along one wall, and dance floor along the other, and no tables or stage (that we could see). We paid 150 pesos to per girl, with no negotiating (so you may get a better deal). We paid for one drink per girl before we left (30 pesos apiece), and since we do not speak very good Spanish, we only assumed it was an exit fee. No help from Bartenders or other staff.

Black:

There on Tuesday night. Girls are averge to above average-NOT the hottest chicks in town, but some nice ones. The Place is VERY smoky, very dark, and poorly laid out. Some hot girls, many average girls, and a few that looked older than 40! 25 pesos to get in, which includes one drink. Did not get subsequent drinks, but based on the other places I assume they are expensive. Front door staff was helpful, but we did not find the english speaking bartender that others on WSG said was helpful. Girls started negotiations at 200US dollars, but came down quickly from there.

Where do you find the best looking girls in Buneos Aires? Via several internet sites like platynum, or with Roxanne's help.

Went to Corrientes 1965, last night, no luck, no one answered the buzzer or the phone. Went to Madahos, but too much attitude for what seemed to be poor potential service quality. Although I was offered 150 for service, I got the feeling it would be very mechanical and turned her down. Ended up spending too much money on cover charges everywhere, I ended up in Hooks, Cattos, Ness, all had poor quality. Ended up accepting a blonde about a 3 or 4 quality for 100 pesos for complete service at my hotel. In hindsight, I probably should have gone for quality at Madahos, but I am the type of guy who likes GFE more than anything else and this girl had that at least.
Today, just walked around the city in Buenos Aires, exploring, resting for a big night I hope.

On your excellent analysis of Madaho drinks/times, I can confirm exactly as you said, not that you particularly need any confirmation by others. I got this from a now ex-Madahoita.
It was interesting to watch their exchange of chits to the bartender prior to their leaving.
I got a bit of a different kind of story from Hooks a year or 2 ago that I would not fully trust to be accurate, but it was similar.
It is hard to believe there were that many people around at Thanksgiving. Would you consider that at almost any point in the year, there are that many wsg site visitors stomping around BA, or is Thanksgiving bigger.

During weekends, clubs have few girls and Internet girls become less available. Girls in Recoleta clubs can detect almost instantly if you are bored and need service, and they WILL take advantage of the situation.

In order to take advantage of the night, I suggest visiting Downtown clubs (Catto's and Hook) and the Flores neighborhood clubs. The latter can provide you a different experience: Clubs catering to locals that, despite not having the quality of Recoleta, can offer you some gems for very little.

There's no excuse to let get bored in BA. With little research in this thread, you can find out about several clubs beyond Recoleta and have a great night.

2 months ago, I brough 2 gentlemen to Envidia in Flores. These guys could have paid for a Black's girl every day and not leave Recoleta, but they joined me that Saturday and had a blast: 2 or 3 different girls in 90 minutes for ar$50 each. I agree that facilities are not upscale, but they suffice for the purpose (and you can take girls out, too, for a fee).

I thought at most they hit you with 100 US 300 peso at the beginning? Did anyone heard about 500? Or is it just me? I answered Emily that I´m californian but she asked "Father...Tokyo?" Day 1
