    Cordoba Chicas

I ran into some guys recently who have been to Cordoba on a couple of occasions and had some really good experiences with semi working girls who are just trying to earn some extra $ to pay for their education / training. It appears that they simply made discreet enquiries at hotel reception and before they knew it had a choice of very pretty young student types / trainee professionals to pick from. They rated the girls they picked up in this way better than the "experienced" girls in BA, they were more fun and more natural. Does anyone else have any comments to make on this.

Well, well, well, Look who's the "jiffy lube boy". Thank you for reporting on those whiskerias and red zone areas. Now we know where the model quality girls can be found. Haha.

100 pesos? Thats maybe 30 dollars. Christ I spend more than that for a Dominos pizza in the USA. And I tip the delivery boy 50. Obviously you are are a delivery or JiffyLube boy type. That kind of riffraff is not welcome here.

I only use 100 peso bills here in Argentina. When I take a 5 peso cab ride I pay with a 100 peso note and have the driver keep the change. That kind of chump change isnt even worth my time. Jiffy Lube money.

Be careful with those trannies! They are supposedly the highest paid sex workers in the country (seriously) and are way out of the price range for someone on a 100 peso Jiffy Lube budget. You'll come whimpering back to Blacks after dealing with them.

Welp. Decided to try a few places I hadn't been to in a while. All still $100 pesos for one hour. All unfortunately around 7 in terms of looks (used to be much better so I was a disappointed) All around same number of girls (5-7) on a Thu and Fri night around midnight.

Both are open until 7am (don't know when they open)
    Colon 129
    Salta 83

    9 DeJulio 731 (24hrs)

You can get the girls around the Rivadavia / General Paz zone for 15-20 pesos for 30min if you're into that (you can find a couple of rare nice looking ones hanging out their entry ways) but I prefer the clubs. Careful you don{t pick up a tranny in this area since they are prevelant there as well.

Go down Tucuman (near Catamarca) and you will hit the whiskerias with all the women waving you in. Most are 7 and below. Venus seemed the best last night with two 8 blondes.

If you're hungry beforehand. Stop by Mamas near the canal there. Decent Italian. Red zone starts across the street or you can walk around the corner to Tucuman and hit the whiskerias.

During my recent visit to Córdoba, my hooker friend and I checked out Cafe Reggo. It is like a mini version of Exedra in Buenos Aires, but much cheaper prices for food and drink. I believe a large bottle of beer was 6 pesos. For two pesos we got a bunch of ham and cheese cubes. There were only two working girls in there at about 10 or 11 PM on a Friday night, one doable and one not. General Paz and Santa Rosa as has been posted.

I have been to Cordoba 3 (?) times. There are gorgeous cordobesa women everywhere there, as there are in almost all provincial cities, and as Capt Dave pointed out. Last time there I hired a random taxi driver to take me around all night (well maybe from 11pm to 2 am) in search of some good P4P. I was probably in 10 places, half apartments and half boliches / bars and they all sucked. Nothing even tempting. Just my experience, its hard for me to believe that theres not a good market in any decent sized town in Argentina, but I was doubtful that night. Maybe Cordoba is similar to Mar Del Plata in the sense that the microcentro area (where I was) is to be avoided, but a little ways out there is good abundant quality.

    3 days in Cordoba

Well, I just got back from 3 days in Cordoba, and I am planning on going back for a longer visit sometime this spring.

We took a Lan flight from Aeroparque which cost $100 dollars round trip. There are buses that make the 10 hour trip for 40-50 pesos, but time was a little limited so we went for the flight.

Checked into the Felipe II, just because it was mentioned. It was fine, although at 90 pesos / night I'm sure you could get the same for less or better for the same. The staff IS friendly, and the rooms are sparten but clean. King size bed that was not TOO uncomfortable. Breakfast (coffee & medialuna) included.

The first thing you will notice is that there are more pretty women and girls walking around the streets of Cordoba then anywhere I have ever been in my life! College girls, working girls, just schools of them - it really is amazing!

First night went to a string of whiskerias near the corner of Rioja and Sucre. There are 5 or 6 in the area, all small and lightly stocked. The first one had just opened up (about midnight, just like here) with 2 chicas behind the bar (it turns out they were working, and everyone seems to take turns bartending) The perked up when we walked in, and we joked around a little when they said beers were 8 pesos, although drinks were only 7. The beer turned out to be a liter, and when I asked for a brandy the little barmaid emptied the last of a bottle into a waterglass (filling it about 1/2 way) and then opened another and filled it up!

Prices seem to be $100-150 for 1n 1 1/2 or 2 hours. I took eventually took one back to the hotel and had a fine time.

The next day we spent exploring Carlos Paz with Bodhi, who ferried us around the country side in his spunky little Puegot. We visited two clubs there that night. Cleopatra, located just across from the casino, had a few girls, only one of which was tempting to me, so we set off to a club called Tiffanies, reputed to be the finest selection in Carlo Paz. There were about 15 ladies there, and I must say I have seldom seen so many unattractive women in one place in Argentina. The must advertise specially for them.

Needless to say, we left shortly, and I went back to Cleopatra to take the one semi-cute one home.

The next day we went "apartment shopping". We went to 5 different privados, gleaned from this section and the newspaper, and encountered quite a selection.

Prices start at $10 pesos for 10 minutes!

Typically 20-30 pesos for 1/2 hour, 40 or 50/ hour, with everything other then covered everything available for a slight premium. At one place even a handjob was covered unless you coughed up another 10 pesos or so!

Midnight was a trip to a club called "Repoza", about 1/2 way back to the airport. Very Madaho-like setup, with about 12 attractive to semi-attractive ladies available for a couple of hundred pesos for a few hours, I got the feeling on a slow night there was lots of room to bargain a little. The club was PACKED full of girls having a bachelorette party so (the lady I was talking too) said there were not as many chicas as usual. We left before the male dancers came on!

There appeared to be LOTS of other boliches scattered throughout town, but they will have to wait for next trip.

The bottom line is you can have a pretty good time in Cordoba, with prices for food, hotels and cabs 1/2 of BA.

    Norman Stormin,

Very enjoyable read on the trip to Cordoba. I agree with MoonDog, it sounds like it might be a fun excursion. The key words in your report were “private sleeper cabin”. I rode on a two-person sleeper cabin from Austria to France a few years ago and the experience was pretty darn miserable. Several other things that you mentioned reminded me of my train ride were the bad coffee and tourist class section… whoa. You’re a smart guy for bringing the wine and other small food.

Thanks again for the insightful read,

    Y & R

    I took the train

Being a railroad affectionado, I could not resist the train trip to Cordoba. Round trip in a private sleeper cabin 140 pesos. Well worth it. I slept like a baby. It left Retiro about 8pm and arrived Cordoba about 10am. Return was 4:30 pm arriving Retiro 7:30 am.

I was also excited about the dining car but took some cold cuts, cheese, bread and wine just in case. Good thing I did as the dining car sucked. First, it had bad springs and rolled like you were in rowboat on the high seas during a squall. Second, no alcohol of any kind. Third, only one entre served alla airplane microwave for 16 pesos. Fourth, breakfast, though free, was the lousiest cup of watered down coffee served in a styrofoam cup with powdered milk and a packaged day old box of sweet shit. I really stocked up and had a feast in my cabin on the return trip.

I toured the entire train: pullman, first class, tourist class, and baggage car. I went to the baggage car to smoke with the crew as no smoking is allowed. The cabin has a sink, towels, bottled water, and a package of toiletries. The cabin attendant, roudolpho, was very attentive and accomodating. He explained the train was refitted by the cordoban province to increase tourism. They started with one round trip per week and plan to add a second one in the spring.

If you try it, do not consider anything except the sleeper cabin as it is a 15 hour trip. The other cars were full of kids and stunk.

I planned on visiting Carlos Paz and Villa General Belgrano while there. I did this but did not stay the night as they were dead this time of year. Most hotels and restaurants closed. I did day trips by bus and stayed in Cordoba. First 2 nights Hotel Cristal (Entre Rios 58). 3 star 98 pesos per night double with breakfast. The room and staff were not up to standards and I switched hotels for the last 3 nights. Felipe II (San Jeronimo 279). Also 3 star at 80 pesos per night but twice as nice and a very friendly staff. BTW, I always pay for a double to avoid any problems in the lobby. I highly recommend this one.

Both hotels are in the city center. Felipe was 3 blocks from the train station and 2 blocks from Plaza San Martin. Also take the city bus tour at 4.30pm from the plaza. 15 pesos for 1 and 1/2 hour bilingual tour. Good city orientation.

Visited 2 apartments while in town: 129 Avenida Colon, a walk up with 8 bedrooms. They are open 24/7. 100 pesos per hour completo 50 pesos 1/2 hour. Conventional was 80 /40. I was there on Sunday and only 4 girls were on duty, they normally have 8 to 12. I chose a slender one with short hair and pert tits. They madame warned me she was not a good girl (this was a first for me) and without hesitation I opted for my second choice. All were doable in the 5 to 7 range. Good performance with 20 peso tip for bbbj.

83 Salta, also a walk up with six bedrooms. They are also open 7 days a week but close for cleaning between 7 and 10 in the morning. Same prices as colon but the girls were not quite as pretty (5 to 6 range). I went in the afternoon and 6 girls were presented. They said they have 8 at night. Again I chose the slenderest one and the madame did not object. Performance was better here but prices were the same. But you can go for as little as 20 pesos for 15 minutes if price is your thing. I think these 2 apartments may have the same owner.

Since I was only 3 blocks from the train station, I checked this out every night for street action and found none. There were a few SWS in Plaza San Martin but not worth talking to (40's and overweight). I never made it to the Tucaman / La Rioja club area.

Nice trip overall. Cordoba has very few restaurants and cafes as compared to Buenos Aires but prices are about 25% less. Great walking city center with 5 pedestrian malls around Plaza San Martin.
