    visit to MdP

Couple of experiences from my recent visit to this place.

As pointed out earlier in this forum, the number of privados in MdP is huge. Most of them seem to be advertising in 'El Capital' - mostly only with phone numbers, but a quick phone call will get you the address.

The top privado seem to be 'El Hotel' which is indeed gorgeously arranged place, in particular if you go for an hour and get a nice big room. Prices wary from $50 1/2 hour to $140 for an hour, depending also on a girl in question (pesos, of course) I went there Friday around 7pm and there were only two girls available. I went for one of them and it was perhaps one of the worst experiences I have had in Argentina - so boring that I don't want to go into details (but see below)

Visited Madahos afterwords, but something didn't work out for me. The place is reasonable however and there were some pretty nice girls there. Left around 3am with a slight headache but also with a strong desire to improve sour taste of that evening. Stopped by Rawson 3K something (see earlier reports or el capital) but was luckily sober enough to refuse sharing any time with any of the ladies over there.

My luck changed after that due to objectively unreasonable return to El Hotel where I met one of the best looking working girls (for my taste of course) I have seen in Argentina. 21 years old, 1.70 or so, big natural breasts, perfect figure (sorry, don't remember the name) I saw her following day as well in my hotel and she came up dressed in a way which so completely startled the hotel stuff that they forgot to ask any questions. Had a great second session with her. Wow. Cbj though (this appears to be some kind of practice in el hotel, based on my experience.

That same evening I visited Madaho's again, much better experience this time. Pulled out a very nice girl who turned out to be excellent provider and suprisinly interesting conversational partrner.

On a practical note, I was told that the prices over there vary between 150 -200 for negotiable period of time. Chica's drinks are 35. There is no entrance fee but they won't let you out (wiithout having one drink at least.

    decent little strip club

Wandering around MDP in the middle of Feb. I found a little strip club. 10 pesos to get in, includes one drink. Another drink, a 12 oz can of Quilmes for example, was 5 pesos. Showed up at midnight and it was dead, 5-6 guys watching another guy play pool with some stripper chick. Around 1:30 more chicas showed up, but still it was 12 guys to 5-6 chicas. Girls will immediatly walk up and want a drink, one after the other, 20 pesos. The girls that actually get up on stage (only 2 or 3) didn't really solicit. Of all the girls, 3x 4/5 3x 7/8 and, at the very end, one 10 that got up on stage. I bought a drink for one as she was actually honestly friendly. Guess what? They will all fuck you for a drink and 40-50 pesos, right there in the club in booths, behind heavy curtains.

You can see it from Entre Rios and Bolivar, close to Plaza Colon.

    3 strikes and youre out

    Pappy,

Knowing you were about to arrive, I left a stink bomb in there.

I thought you were going to stay there longer. Don't tell me that you and your questionable escorts were "banned" from the MDP apartment as well!

    Just Joking,

    Thumbs up Casa Primavera

I stayed at Fruehling's apartment, CasaPrimavera, in Mar Del Plata for 4 nights last week and was very pleased with the entire experience. The apartment is fantastic – it's even nicer than it appears in the video in my opinion. Everything is brand new and excellent quality - the floors, furniture, appliances, bathroom, kitchen, etc. The living/TV room is bigger than I expected based on the video. It is located right on the beach and in the center, close to pedestrian zones and within 5 minutes of almost everything. The apparently residential building has about six floors and is very well maintained.

The concierge, Miguel, is a great guy (bilingual) who knows a lot about his native city. He punctually met me for my airport transfers and checkin/out. I only had to call him once during my stay for a small request and his response was almost instantaneous. I am quite familiar with MDP and I am sure that Miguel would be very helpful to anyone who is new to the city. There is a comprehensive guide to MDP in the apartment that includes maps and recommended restaurants, bars, clubs, and escort services. Miguel recommended an excellent restaurant one night (La Guapa) and even made the reservation for me.

Payment was simple – I made it via credit card over the internet just before my arrival. As you can read below, Frueling has reduced his rates and eliminated the one week minimum.

I highly recommend CasaPrimavera. It's a first rate apartment with excellent service/management and is a great choice for accommodation in MDP. In my opinion, an apartment is almost always preferable to a hotel room, and this apartment has all the amenities and services that you would expect at a fine hotel.

    Tigre

I am going to Tigre tomorrow. I'll be looking for chica action. Does anyone know if there are any apartments, massage parlors, or clubs available in Tigre?

    Thanks.

    caseta azul

Cab driver took me to this house in a residential area. There were already 2 cabs there when I arrived. About 4 guys already inside deciding. 60 pesos for half an hour and 90 pesos for the hour. About 10 girls mostly Paraguayans. Chose Patricia, blonde spinner type. Take a good look when they first introduce themselves with a peck on the cheek as its dark in there. Everything covered, mirrors in front and above the bed for your viewing pleasure. Patricia sucked like a real pro, liked it hard and fast. Quite the trooper as she took a good pounding for the whole half hour. No DATY as I was probably #15 for the night. Phone #4759826

    Casa Primavera Apartment

Having a planned weekend in MdP, I took up Jacob's offer of a reduced $99/ night rate on this newly renovated apartment overlooking the sea. A great pad for hobbyist, couple or family. Sleeps 4 easily. You must like people (at least in high season, Dec. – Feb. As it is located right in the middle of the action (walking streets, shopping, beach, cafes, wine shops, etc. No need for a car as a short taxi ride will get you to the Disco zone on Constitucion or to Madahos. As for the apartment itself, it's about 40 sq meters with a great view of the beach and sea from the fifth floor. Great sunrises as the bedroom faces directly east. The best part is the personal concierge service by Miquel who has been a long term resident of MdP. His good English skills take any worry out of going to this adventure location. He booked reservations at the best restaurants including contact names for superior service. (the best steak dinner for $7) All-in-all, everything was as-billed, very enjoyable. I only wish I had more time!

    Point taken

Ok, I see that you all want a better price. So, I have cut the prices in half. It is now $99 during peak season and $49 during the off season. The minimum stay has also been eliminated. Also, I will be cutting a break to the next 5 people from this board (who have more than 40 postings) who stay and will promise to write a review about it here.

We have a lot to offer that you won't find anywhere else. If you need help with finding chicas, or anything like that, the concierge will help you. It is very comfortable and safe and secure. It is in the best location in the city.

    Thomaso276,

Your allegations about me: 1) saying I would never stay in Fruehling's property; 2) disagreeing with almost everything/everyone; 3) not knowing the market; and 4) not having experience are baseless and wrong. I'm not sure why you would write something so stupid but I have a very lame guess.

I haven't "qualified myself with a bio" - what the hell does that mean? Has anyone?

I'm truly flattered by your interest in and speculation about my studies, qualifications, travels, and work experience. I trust that its professional interest and nothing more. I have no idea who you are so I must admit its a little creepy.

Everyone has civilized disagreements from time to time. You, however, apparently attack and slander anyone who doesn't share your opinion, and that is a waste of space on this forum.

I disagree with your comment of "most of the WSG guys don't, can't or won't spend alot of money on accomodations". Guys coming down here have at least the money/desire to travel to and stay in BA, which is more expensive than MDP - they seem like good candidates to visit MDP just 400km south to me. Thats just my opinion and personal experience though.

    Fruehling,

You are taking advice from a guy who says he would never stay in your property! He questions just about everything that someone here likes, recommends or tries that is different from his own opinion. He does not qualify himself with a bio or extensive experience except having travelled all over South America and not spending alot of money. I was told he was an accountant in his previous life - would you take marketing advice from your accountant? Shit I do not know if he was a CPA or just a beancounter in a big firm. Believe me, most of the WSG guys don't, can't or won't spend alot of money on accomodations - including me. That does not mean your market is wrong. But if you think you have a different market, go for it. If you rent to a high roller who wants something different, you win. Additionally, minimum stays are very popular during peak seasons and alot of people are forced to accept them if they want to vacation in a certain area. What have you got to lose. Remember, Moore is never going to stay in your place.

If Moore wants to chop up your site and give advice on how to do things right, why isn't he doing it himself? Why isn't he successfully running hostels and boarding houses or buying up cheap apartments and renting them out or running a string of retail stores?

I looked at your site and think you did a fine job. If you can maximize your rent, go ahead. What the F*** do you care what anyone else thinks, unless they can provide extensive experience and expertise on the subject. Travelling to a resort town 20 times does not make one an expert in renting apartments. Owning several rentals and making a profit gives them some leverage and validity to their advice. Do your own thing and good luck!

By the way, not too many cheap apartments anymore in desirable locations.
