    Hi Exon,

I believe that the picture could correspond to Plaza Once (take a look at the blue sign of the subway A line) It also fits with the description of many Dominican hookers. The expression "Prostitution Plaza" is probably a great literary find of the author of this superb masterpiece of journalism, and might well be a metaphor for Plaza Once.

    All the best.

PS: that is a shitty place to go for hooker-hunting, anyway. Horrible pimps around, trashy customers, stories of robbery. Stay away from that place, in my opinion.

Yes is true, in the restrooms of the constitution station you can easily get oral sex, for that price (5 pesos) but I would not recommend it. Go at your own risk! Mostly under payed red collar workers.

You can spend 5 pesos on a bbbj and the 50 pesos on antibiotics for your penis. NOT WORTH IT!

Plaza Constitucion rymes with Plaza Prostitucion. Play on words in Spanish.

Plaza Once is FULL of Dominican hookers and the article has a lot of references concerning Dominican hookers.

The big butt hooker in the picture is Dominican from what I can see and it looks like she is in Constitucion if you look at the tiles, sidewalk and large expanse of free space with low buildings.

Plaza Constitucion is surrounded by Dominican hookers and local Trannies (24) hours aday.

And yes, $5.00 US dollar sex is available and it cost a little more to lose the cover!

Everyone of you has been handed a little flyer that says Sexo $15.00 pesos.

That is less than $5.00 dollars.

    That's what I think anyway!

I think "prostitute plaza" is a imaginary name given by the reporter to "dramatize" her report.

She probably did not want to give the real name of the streets to ensure that the readers of her article do not easily find the girls, in case they decide to fly to BA after reading her article in search of prostitutes. Giving real street names would in one way help in advertising prostitution in BA and guiding the "predator" to the "prey".:-)

    Just guessing!:-)

This is why posts advertising the selling of virgins and anything else of that nature are completely unnecessary on this forum. Not only is it illegal but it gives people like this reporter filler for her otherwise clueless article.

    THINK before you post.

Agreed. It was a story completing lacking in any real information. For christ sake, it doesn't mention the boliches, privados and Paraguayan immigrants either.

He talked with one guy from that "foundation" of "social workers" (many of whom are ex-prostitutes according to story) I wonder if the guy who wrote the story even came to Buenos Aires to see for himself (I doubt it)

There are bad things that go on in the trade, for sure, and I don't have a problem with underage shit being targeted, and those who are basically sex slaves being freed. But I think we all know that the majority of what goes on here ain't like that.

Did anyone read the comments below the story? There were comments about legalizing the trade and making it more above ground, and from a quick review, it appeared to me that more of these attitudes had more agreement than the ones who were espousing religious or "woe is me the women are falling on their backs" stuff. Don't worry, Tmontana, it's not going away or evne underground any time soon!

That's an editorial not a news story

While I am all for eliminating human trafficking, the reporter editorializes and makes up facts and statistics throughout the article.

    "Prostitute Plaza"

If such a place exists, I would expect that it would be reviewed herein.

"But they all offer the same services. Five pesos ($1.50) more without a condom. "

If US$1.50 pussy exists in Bs As, there would be a huge thread on it on AP. I would expect that with our large and experienced team of investigators seeking out every possible slice of ass in this city, someone (Exon after leaving Checkers? Would have stumbled upon the US$1.50 chica. If we find her, I don't think too many of us will pay the premium to go bareback.

"Underage" "Teenage girls now make up the biggest slice of viewable porn."

This is intended to suggest that more than 50% of porn available today is of underage teenage girls. This simply is not true. Nor is it true that more than 50% of porn consists of teens that have reached the age of majority (I. E. 18 years old) While I am sure that it exists and is available to those who desire it (and it would be great if it could be completely eliminated) underage porn is illegal in most places around the world for both the producer and the possessor-with very harsh punishments. All commercially produced porn in the US requires records documenting the age of the models to be kept on file to prove the age of anyone in question.

"It seems the Dominican and Argentinian governments don't want to know either. Despite the large wave of immigration from the Dominican Republic — the vast majority of them young women — neither country has launched an investigation into who's bringing these women here and who is in charge of them once they arrive."

What about those enterprising woman, domestic and international, who voluntarily enter the business for profit motive? I have met many nice Argentinian, Paraguayan and Dominican ladies and have never seen the slightest indication that they were not participating eagerly and voluntarily.

Yes, please. WHERE is "Prostitution Plaza"?

I am simply guessing . Maybe the route between Cafe Exedra and Catto's is being referred to as Prostitution Plaza by the female reporter who has documented this article.
