Can anyone suggest the best way to rent an apartment in Asuncion for one month, in late July and early August? In the past I have been well-served by the recommendations on Argentinaprivate. Com for rentals in BA, but a look through this forum reveals no comparable recommendations for Asuncion (and I apologize in advance if the recommendations are there and I just have been too stupid to find them).

I am an experienced old monger who has made more than 20 trips to Latin America but never to Paraguay. I do remember some Paraguayan beauties working in Buenos Aires, and I would like more of that. Gentlemen,

Lately, there's been a lot of buzz about Asuncion on the forum so I've taken the plunge and started preparing for the trip. I've been in BA for about a week and a half and am somewhat skeptical about taking the time and money to fly over to Asuncion.

If you're on a budget, BA can be done without too much trouble: Gysell has started an escort call in service and TejanoLibre has started his Privado and Club Tours. A little background on the places you visited.

On a recent visit to Asuncion, Chica Seeker and I hired a driver to visit San Bernadino. It's about an hour outside Asuncion in the direction of San Lorenzo. I was very impressed by the contrast with Asuncion. Very upscale with beautiful hotels lining the lake. It reminded me a lot of Santa Barbara, Ca. I read good comments on PALMAS DEL SOL hotel and decided to stay there.

Near the center (Plaza Uruguaya at 5 mn) very nice gardens and terraces inside the hotel; little swimming pool and excellent breakfast with 4 kind of fresh fruit juices; corn flakes; pastries, cheese, ham; omelette with bacon etc.

Perfect room with safe.
