Those have been hard to find, or decent sleeping pills. I tried many countries and ask for Ambien. Some places like Colombia will sell Zoplicona. It is slower to work, but puts me to sleep a solid 8 hours. I haven't been to Chile or Bolivia yet, but for South American pharmacies, the loosest ones are in Peru. I went to one pharmacy in Lima and asked and no problem, I just bought a box of ten. I went accross the street and asked another pharmacy, and I bought 2 boxes of a different brand. All good stuff. I tried many places in Colombia and they won't sell it without a prescription. And only certain pharmacies are even allowed to have the highly controlled stuff. But I found one guy in Bogota, he has a big box of meds hidden away, and he sells Ambien. I also found one place in Trinidad, they had an original bottle of 100 and sell you just 1 pill at a time, but I think it was about $3 US a pill. Another place is in Cabo San Lucas, those pharmacies in the harbor will sell A-Z. For the hard core stuff they will charge a US street price. I bought 10 generic Ambien there, made in India. But they were good. Seems like what they did is import meds from India, then they sell them off the books. I tried a pharmacy in Nicaragua, they don't give a damn what you want to buy, if they have it, they will sell it. But the ones I went to didn't have Ambien. I bought a half dozen boxes of meds to try them out and the price was still very cheap.

I did once negotiate a deal for a visiting friend in Newport with a gal from Brazil. In the morning he called me and said she stole his laptop and passport. I am a pretty good judge of hookers so I was skeptical. I went to his apartment and found both items where he had hidden them.

Those are priceless stories. I am going to retell the ambien/viagra mix up as often as possible (with your permission, of course).

I have all my valuable stuff in the safe before she gets there or before I head out for the night. I'll have adequate cash for the evening in my pocket, one credit card, a photocopy of my passport and one phone. I have more credit cards, my ID, more cash, my passport and two more phones in the safe. So, if she grabs my stuff and runs, I'll be pissed but, not greatly inconvenienced. When I actually feel nervous about my stuff is when I am in the US at a hotel that doesn't have an in-room safe.

Glad to hear that NP is open. I loved that place and never had a bad chica experience out of there. I did take one chica home (the one with the sun tattoo around her bellybutton) who definitely had a lot of miles on her. I found three or four newbie chicas there (uniformly great experiences), one of which became a fairly regular thing.

I've seen over 100 chicas in Bs As and I have never had anything stolen [knocks on wood].

Just returned to BA after a year, and went by New Port. It was definitely open. I spoke to one of the waiters and he said it had been closed for two weeks (as indicated in the previous posts), and re-opened two nights ago.

There were about 30 women working, and maybe 20 guys. It wasn't a very favorable scene, in my opinion.

Only stayed for a few minutes, and then went to Hook.

Probably not. Black was the cancer that ruined Newport. When Black closed a beer was 40 DOLLARS and chica drinks started at 80 DOLLARS and went up to 150 DOLLARS. The chicks started at about 200 DOLLARS. I was there a couple weeks before it closed for good and it was about 20 chicks, ALL wanting 200 DOLLARS, and one old man besides us on a Thursday night. When they closed, like locusts those thieving chicks spread out and wrecked Newport and Pagana. These days as soon as a chick says "I used to work at Black" I just walk away. (I bet you can guess which chick that advertises on this forum used to work at Black).

Went in twice Friday Night at about 11:30 pm and again at 12:30 am. Lots of girls, maybe 25, some cute. Most were dolled up to the max. All I saw looked like hardened pros. Lots of silicone. Almost all girls first time, almost no guys. It was a bit intimidating and did not feel sexy at all. Left and had a drink down the street and came back. There were a couple of guys second time but still about 5 girls per guy. Music was too loud to talk much and I did not see anything that looked like tender chicken to me. Found one that spoke a bit of English but I did not find her attractive. I didn't get any prices but I am confident they were sky high. We were confronted by the waitress on our second visit after being inside for about 5 minutes we were told to buy a drink or leave. Moved on to Excedra.

Too bad. If you could take the girl to the sidewalk cafe out front you likely would have a nice conversation. Good things could flow but not this night. Inside of bar is pretty basic, no ambiance, no atmosphere and a bit crowded and as I mentioned noisy. Will try again tonight and see if more time and a couple of drinks yields a better result.

Is Excedra back up in business? I thought they don't allow chicks there anymore?

I went there around midnight today and the door was closed. Strange enough some dude (maybe security) was sleeping on the couch by the right window.

Can't believe that they would be closed on a Saturday night! Definitely something isn't right.
