Posts: 2599I've never been to Mendoza.
There's a thread on it but I hear the mongers is "Sparce" at best.
Just do the wine thing, not much fishing there either.

Posts: 44Thanks for fishing advice - what about Mendoza
Looks like I will be going there first end of next wk / wkend. From threads I saw here did not sound real encouraging on the pussy front. Anybody been there recently and have any suggestions - think at this point just doing some winery stuff and trip into mountains.
Thanks

I've been several times, its expensive but well worth the money.
My advice on a short trip is to find a reliable travel agent, (theres a bunch of them on the bottom of Santa Fe) Have them book a flight to Bariloche and a hotel. Call the hotel in advance and have them set you up with a fishing guide and a boat.
Just guessing but I'm close, your looking at $400 to $500 for the flight over, plus, say $300 for two nights in the hotel, plus $500 to $600 per day for the guide & boat.
Its an estimate, but again its close, your looking at roughly $2,000 for a weekends fishing over their.
The money is well spent, its some of the most beautiful country in the world, plus world class fly fishing, Argentina is famious for its Fly Fishing. Futhermoore this is the best time of year to fish since the water is lower and theres more fish.
Most of the "Class less" CockSuckers that post on this board are too "Cheap" to even dream of such a thing.

I have found myself staying in BA for bit longer than intended - guess great food and cheap pussy will do that. However, I do love fishing and while did not really come equipped I would certianly be game get some of this action in with other interested members. I am quite an experienced flyfisherman or other so would be good to go for anything. I do work most of the wk so would be best to organize around wkends in April.

Posts: 823Exellent post Exon. Well said and to the point (with the usual, but not excessive smattering of explitives) There is only one factual inaccuracy that needs to be cleared up. Dorado on a fly rod (8 weight, 300 tiny line) makes the blood shunt south almost as much as a decent mongering session. I'm a hard core trout fisherman from Montana and I make several trips a year to Argentina to get those yellow tigers on my fly rod. The dorado absolutley kick a trouts ass and that even includes the monsters in the Rio Grande. PM me if you're interested in going in April. I'll be coming in the spring for another trip to Goya and will be spending some time in BA as well (maybe we could get together and talk fly fishing - like you - any other form of fishing is just masterbation without the cum shot! You really need to reconsider your stance on the Dorado. After a week of yellow devil action you might find it pretty hard to go back to the silly siver fish.

Exon's problem is that is he stuck in "The Desert", sweating his balls off, not getting any pussy, and "jacking off" on a constant basis to the same stale porn. He wishes he was in "Argentina" visiting with Fabiana at her cockroach-infested apartment. In fact, I have a suspicion that Exon really wants to live in "Argentina" "full-time", but is being a big stubborn pussy about the whole issue, and refuses to admit his wrongdoing like "Sidney" has, and move to Buenos Aires. Exon, stop being such a stubborn "cocksucker" and write the damn trip report already.
Suerte,

Posts: 131Flyfishing information, please
Exon:
I hope you are well and not baking excessively in the summer sun.
I was actually watching this thread to gain information. I am not a fishing enthusiast myself, but was interested in the information as I have friends who are. I also was interested in your particular experience, because I know you. I suspect Jackson felt the same.
The message from the leader / guide is OK, but an unbiased report from you would be even better -- and that would be an even better ad for the guide, if he was good.
Jackson is trying to get people to report on things like this precisely to avoid being just a board for minimum price prostitution. I have not had the experience you have now had, but I have tried to explain the attraction of other places (example: Colonia) that may appeal to some folks but will not appeal to other folks, particularly those who want to spend all their time in cheap privados.
How about just a summary of what you spent, what you enjoyed, what you thought compared to other flyfishing trips you have done?
Thanks for considering this request.

I will begin taking donations soon. Are we really serious about pestering Ex about his fishing trip, or are other things afoot? I personally wish him well whether he is fishing, eating cucumber sandwiches, or squirming around on the end of some chica's finger while his unit is being manipulated. Though I am upset with him for not going to see Boca play when they were recently in his backyard. You cocksucker!

In all these days regarding Fly Fishing I've gotten one, "One" mind you, true inquiry via PM from a Monger. Which I gladly answered, Strylight asked a question on the board then came back with the following posted below.

No more amazing than how a 18 or 20 year old chica can be interested in something just as small. For a minor consideration. (You sure you weren't paying those trout, Exon? LOL!"
I'll lighen my stance and refur to these people as "Jack Off's". None are truly interested in fishing just posting nonsense.
I'll rest my case.

Venues: 398I agree with Jaimito
Greetings everyone,
For the record, I agree 100% with Jaimito's assessment.
Exon, with all due respect, you used to be an informative contributor, and you're still a great guy to hang with, but lately all we've been seeing from you is a lot of "motherfuckers" and "cocksuckers".
Write the report. Even if it's a subject that would only be of value to 2% of the forum's visitors, with 2,000 unique visitors a day, that's still 40 people a day who would be interested in fly fishing in Patagonia.
Thanks,
Jackson
