Posts: 3I watched Alice (2005) yesterday. It's one of the best examples of Portuguese cinema.. It's a great portrayel of Lisbon and the plot is just awesome. I like these kind of dark movies. Also, I love Portuguese language, I watch only Portuguese movies since I've been there in order to look for some apartments for sale in Algarve Portugal last month. It's like Spanish but somehow sounds better than Spanish.

Posts: 1885I love WT for all the work he has done and how he has benefited me, personally (seriously). However, I am still working on getting him to see the light...*
*Regardless of politics, WT will never have to buy a drink if I am in town. Now, to figure out a way to get my ass back to Bs As. I also 100% respect WT's right to have opinions that differ from mine.

I read a review that said that the second half of Will Smith's new movie is set in Buenos Aires. Are there any interesting scenes or was it all done in a studio?

The "carpetbaggers" (oil companies) have made a lot of landowners and mineral owners wealthy. One of the reasons hydraulic fracturing of shales is viable in the USA but not other countries is because of private ownership of mineral rights. Private owners, who receive royalties from oil companies, are more motivated to lease than governments.
Criticism about hydraulic fracturing coming from environmentalists is incredibly ironic, at least the ones who believe global warming is a big threat. In the USA, natural gas produced by hydraulic fracturing is displacing coal to generate electricity. And that probably has reduced emissions of CO2 more than all the renewables combined.
There are minor risks to groundwater and from leakage of methane. But these risks pale beside the benefits of hydraulic fracturing, for the environment, and, as pointed out by Dccpa, for the economy and national security.
Btw, your hero, Jerry Brown, governor of California, does not agree with you on this.
