Very few of the huge crowd of Chicas in Buenos Aires are working for themselves. As I wrote before it is not easy for a woman to manage her own affairs in the big city. There is also a mentality issue here. Most ladies much rather work for someone else, than just do it on their own, even though working for someone else means; giving up more than 50% of the income.

In order to be able to work as independent you first need an apartment, beside the cost, a person who want to rent an apartment in Argentina needs to provide a guarantee from two other individuals, whose income can support the payment. A chica can not go to anyone she knows to sign such guarantee, for the simple reason, that she will never tell anyone she knows what her job is, or why she needs a second apartment. Almost no one I know works out of the Apt she also lives in. Than there is a question of security, being alone in an apartment, with strange men coming and going all day long, scares most ladies. Whether the manager of a privado screens the customer, or not, they always tell the chicas that they do. Real, or not, they feel much safer in an apartment that has other people in it.

Then comes the problem of the neighbors and the doorman, single lady might not have any idea how to deal with them. As a result, not too many chicas have the spirit, or the know how to do it alone. Some times they will do it in pairs, they will have two independent chicas to share one apartment. Or one independent chica will have a less experienced chica working for and with her.

It should be noted again that some of the better private apartment chicas, will advertized by the owner of the apartment; to be independent. When we subtract all those that portray themselves as indipendents, but are working for someone else from the list, we remain with few truly independent chicas, many of them are in Area-Vip.
