So, I went to two pharmacies on Cordoba yesterday (Jan. 31, 2012) and wanted to update on pricing and hopefully end some confusion.
First, the confusion: There are TWO pharmacies on Cordoba that have been discussed here. The first is Farmacia Azul, which some people have mistakenly said is located at 876 Cordoba. In fact, it's located at Cordoba 533, between San Martin and Florida. There IS another pharmacy at Cordoba 876-which is ALSO ITS NAME: Farmacia 876 (It has a longer name, but you will see that on the sign). FYI, that is on Cordoba between Suipacha and Esmerelda.
So, yesterday, I visited both. Neither requires a prescription and both charge the same for the generic 'Viripotens' 50mg sildenafil. That price is 165 pesos for a box of 30 pills, which works out to 5. 5 pesos or $1. 25 US per pill.
So, I guess which store you visit just depends on which is more convenient. For those taking the Subte to the 9 de Julio stops, Farmacia 876 is closer than Azul.

Posts: 1885You are welcome Grandlatte. I am a world traveler but I buy my stock of Vitamin V from BA itself year after year. Its perhaps the cheapest here and most easily available here. I strongly suggest you buy a year's stock here before you leave.
I see this is your first post in the forum. I encourage you to write more posts on your sexual experiences in BA.
Best of luck with yr first time use of vit V.

I walked there. Very easy to find, directly on the corner. Pharmacy counter is way at the back in the corner.
I can speak almost no spanish but was able to get a couple of generic V from the nice lady there. I just said quiero viagra generico and she understood. I just went along with whatever she said. No script required. Lady had to do some apparently unfamiliar paperwork (maybe she's new) but with a little help from the dude there she got it done. A bit over 1 us dollar each after discount.
I'm a complete newb to the BA scene. The pharmacy mechanics are also new to me: ask and receive drug from pharmacy counter, pay at checkout, then receive drug in bag from next counter. Hope this helps. First time trying V tonight, wish me luck! If it works out I'll be picking up a bigger supply before I leave.
Catch a taxi.
Tell him to take you to esquina " suipacha why corrientes"
Or write it down on paper as above and hand it to him.
Take a sample of your cialis or viagra with you and they will give you. I dot know price of cialis. A viagra of 50 mg will cost you about 1 us$.
You don't need any references here and you don't need to speak Spanish and you don't need any prescriptions here.
Hope this helps.

Common side effects include heartburn and and the smell of melting latex in your hotel room.

Can someone explain the differences between the 2/3 drugs? Does one last longer than the other, work faster, allow you to last longer, make recovery non-existent or much faster? Never taken them before but would consider it for the trip if it helps.

FYI.
The local generics that I'm aware of that don't require a script if you seem like you require it are:
Argentina.
Vimax by Roemmers (Viagra)
Uruguay.
Lazar Sildenafil by Lazar (Viagra)
Plenovit by Urufarma (Viagra)
Exitomin by Ivax (Viagra)
Magnus by Sidus (Viagra)
Tadacip by ServiMedic (Cialis)
I may be in the business. Hope this helps.

Bought enough Sildenafil to justify for my air travel.
At 901 Corrientes, I bought boxes of 20 at 50mg Bifort for 116 pesos, I. E. 5.8 pesos each 50mg pill.
At 876 Cordoba, I bought boxes of 50 at 50mg Sandoz for 210 pesos, I. E. 4.2 pesos per 50mg pill.
I paid in cash pesos (effectivo).
No prescription (receta) required.
