    Expat Life Coach Requested

    Hello,

Looking for a long time resident to speed up my aquisition of local knowledge. I am a 37 year old who been living abroad for 10+ years but each country has its idiosyncrasies. Looking to get the basics down, best massage place, food, strip club, so I can pursue more rewarding endevouers like volunteer work, salsa, yoga and business ventures. I will be in town at least 3 months as I am semiretired and looking to make this my SA home. I am looking for quality not quantity. I am a long time salsa dancer american football fan. I have sling box if you want to watch the playoffs. My spanish is intermediate to advanced. Let me know if you can help me out!

    First trip to Buenos Aires...

My first trip to Buenos Aires started a couple hours ago.

There was a short line at immigrations, and a very long one at aduanas (customs). I probably overpaid for a cab (TaxiEzeiza) and certainly overpaid for my hotel (Sheraton on Ave Cordoba ... US girlfriend was not happy with my idea of renting a room or apartment; otherwise would be at the AP House).

Haven't tracked a SIM card down yet, but always up for meeting and / or a couple of rounds of drinks. Understand a little bit of Spanish; can comfortably speak even less, but spoke just enough to get ripped off in Madrid.

I will also be in Rosario from Nov 28 to Dec 1, if anyone has an update they can share regarding the action in Rosario that would be great. Foro-Escorts Rosario seems to indicate that there is alot of action going on.

    Best,
    Hola!

    You can try Camila.

She lives in Rosario and I just spoke to her over the phone about 5 minutes ago.

Should be around $600 pesos for about 1.25 hours.

    Anything goes.

My first trip to BA this week!

I've been monitoring the boards for the last few days, have learned a bit of info. Still a bit of uncertainty as is the case since I don't really speak Spanish. Staying in downtown near convention center area and looking to hit up anything and get as much experience with BA Chicas as I can. The information shared on here is extremely valuable and I appreciate everything I've read so far. Some of the comments are hilarious.

Looking forward to Buenos Aires after all rains past few days!

Hey guys, I'm in BA this week for the first (but hopefully far from last) time from the States for work. I've been lurking the forum for the last few days. I am fortunate enough to have a coworker as a guide for meeting some chicas tonight and tomorrow, but just reading through here has put me a lot more at ease, as I'm not a tremendously experienced monger in any country. Just wanted to speak up, give a big thanks to all of you for the information, and perhaps the next time I come down I can arrange an evening to meet a few of you.

Special thanks, of course, to TL.

    Safe travels.

    In BA this weekend

My first trip to BA and Latin America! From 11/14. 11/19.

I've been monitoring the boards for the last few weeks, have learned a bit of info and I would say I feel more prepared. Still a bit of uncertainty as is the case with visiting any new country, but I am counting down the hours now to this trip. Staying in Recoleta area and looking to hit up anything and get as much experience with BA Chicas as I can. The information shared on here is extremely valuable and I appreciate everything I've read so far. Some of the comments are hilarious as well. Classic.

TejanoLibre has been extremely helpful, thanks a million! Looking forward to Buenos Aires!

I was hoping someone would be kind enough to offer some up to date advice on the club scene.

I have noticed in recent posts that a lot of places have closed and wondered what perhaps the top 5 places were currently, if I was to make the most of my chica hunting time?

Any guidance from some vets would be sincerely appreciated.

    Hello Dave,

    Thanks for the PM!

I will try to answer some of your questions here so I don't have to respond to 50 e-mails even though I have the time and I don't mind helping out.

Where to go and what are the best days of the week?

First off there are less than (5) places worth going to in BA for Chicas.

At least places that we normally frequent.

There are a LOT more if you have a sense of adventure but it's not worth it.

    Madahos. CLOSED.

    Black. CLOSED.

Hippo. OPEN. Wednesdays and Thursdays after 1 am are the Best Nights to go.

Newport.OPEN- Wed. Thru Sat. After 12 am have been very good lately.

Hook. Wed. Thru Fri. After 1 am.

Excedra. After 11 pm during the week.

    A Nice Evening in BA..

Go to SLEEP from about 4 pm until 9 pm.

Dinner at "La Cabrerra" from about 9:15 to 11:15 pm. (reservations REQUIRED! Days in advance!).

Coffee. Excedra. 11:30 pm until 12:30.

    Newport. 12:45.

    Hippo.

    Hook.

    Hotel, Motel, Holiday Inn!

    Thanks!

    TL.

    Have Fun!

1 day trip to BA, hopeing to stay in Recoleta Area

Will arrive on August 12th. Time to do some reading for good info. I may hit Cafe X and some clubs. So much to do, so very little time...

  16. #446

Another Californian during the first week of August!

I'll be in BA on August 1 for a week. This will be my first time in BA.- actually first time in Latin America.

I speak zero Spanish, so this will be an interesting experience. I'm looking forward to the trip.

I'm Asian, and it'll be interesting to see how Asians are treated in the scene at BA. I've got some interesting tales to tell of my trips out to Singapore.

Would love to have drinks with a few vets here. I'll buy the first round.

Already PM'd TL and got some pointers already.

Tom, it'd be great to meet up since you'll be in town around the same week. I'm staying at the Ulises.

Hope to meet some of you!

    - John.

If you give them the address of your final destination they will put you in a car after you arrive in Centro and drop you off. Here's the website http://www.tiendaleon.com.ar/home/home.asp.

Note the logo. It will help you locate their booth at EZE. The prices are in ARS. I believe they operate 24/7 and for most of the day a bus departs EZE for Centro every half hour.

If you are going into "town" this is the best bet!
