Between 2002-07 I went to Argentina 6Xs. Went all over the place: Iguasu Falls, Mendoza, Cordoba, Bariloche, Mar del Plata etc. That was in the early years of the devaluation. The businesses, restaurants, chicas hadn't caught up with it. Big dinners for $4 etc. I know, get over it.
Anyway, Buenos Aires is still one of the most sophisticated, cosmopolitan, modern, classy cities in the world. They call it the Paris of So. America. I just love that Subte system, it goes everywhere in the city for 33 cents.

But I did have a good time in BA. Its an exciting city, just walking down Calle Florida is a thrill. BA is still the best city in South America, in my opinion.

I hope you managed to have a good time while you were here.

I lived in Argentina from 1999-2001,before the economy collapsed.that was a fantastic time, you can find all info in Clarin,apt/escort,the price is around 30-40 pesos that time.
Have not been back for a long, long time, will be in town in the end of this months. It looks as a pretty cloudy picture about the tourism in B.A now.appreciate all advise and tips.
