Tourismo Dalman is where I suggested in a PM I think . Directly next door to La Mad . Glad it worked out for you !
I only got 9 on Wednesday and I asked 6 different people ! Dalman was closed on wed. ( Holidays or Sun. Too) and closes early but always worth a shot due to it's prox to X .
Hope it's not raining although the outdoor tables have awnings and it's the place to be.
Have Fun,
TL.

I should arrive at my apartment about 8:00 PM Thursday. Probably will limit my first night activities to Excedra as it is only three blocks away.

Posts: 2808I don't travel as much as I used to
But I always found the best line to get into was whatever one had a young guy working next to a pretty girl. I'm serious about this, they would always be more focused on slinging chamuyo at the mina than looking at my bags.
I've also found that at customs one simply can't be too yankee or too stupid. "No hablo espanolo signore.
I haven't gone through in a long time so this may no longer apply.

Posts: 1099I come in and out of Ezeiza a couple of times a week. Yes, they have become very strict. Its also depends on the line. If the line is very long, you can be lucky and pass through.
The other day, I was alone passing through with a tiny trolley bag. And they inspected it as they saw a safety hand torch in my bag. And when the line is very long, they don't seem to care although the torch is in my bag every time.
Overall, I still feel Ezeiza customs are more linient thant customs of some other Latam countries.

Just got back from USA and customs was very aggressive with inspecting luggage at EZE. The first thing they ask is; where are you from? Answer in English or act dumb & show your passport. They were tearing up Argies and a few tourists. The young guy in front of us had 2 digital cameras undeclared and because they were searching his bags the "table" was full, we went right through. I think if the inspection table had been empty we would have been tagged no matter what.
Final tip: this is second time I got in the line staffed by two 45-50 year old females. One is bleach blond, 5'9" ,140 lbs; the other more strawberry blond, short & heavy, glasses. They are the worst. Our line was absolutely the slowest because of their efforts. Hell, a couple of times the blond was working alone, scanned a bag and inspected the contents stopping the line completely.
Next time I will take a minute to see what line these two are working & adjust.

Arrive Airport 5:50 :
Customs and Baggage 1:00 hour.
Travel Time .40 minutes.
Arrive Lavalle around 7:50. 8:00 .

I will be arriving in Bs As on 2 May for a month. The rub is I don't arrive until 5:50 Pm so any ideas on where I can change dollars in the evening. I hate to change at the airport and not even get the official rate. Looking at an apartment at Carlos pelligrini and Santa Fe.
BTW when I put in the initial after Don the program changes it to be and the only way I have found the fix it is to edit the post.

Hello Everyone!
I have been reading over this forum all day since my plans to BA have been confirmed. I will be flying in the morning of the 10th of May (I know, still a month away) and staying in what I assume is the business district, Retrio. I really appreciate reading about all the various details of the experiences at the clubs and with girls and especially seeing the photos! I am certainly excited about visiting, although I can see from some posts there are "games" being played with the girls where I need to be careful.
I have zero experience in Latin America and speak very limited Spanish. Back in 2004-2008 I would often visit Indonesia for business and the scene sounds somewhat comparable. Jakarta was a pretty set situation and I never had to play many games with the girls. So BA has me a bit nervous.
I think I could manage to solo things if I had to but would like to meet up with someone there or just exchange some more specific information. I am going for business but I think it will only be a 2-hour meeting on both Friday and Saturday. By the way, why is Saturday so dead? Is daytime sex harder to find and how do you all stay up until 5 am? I guess I am getting older, LOL.
Thank you in advance!!
See you soon!

Posts: 50Back in BA Next Week ...
I'll be heading back to BA next week after a short stay in Sao Paulo.. I have connected with a few of the AP board of directors (regulars) via PM.. But if others will be around next week I would like to try and put some faces with the names..
I'll likely be connecting with TL.. As he has been my guide in the past to all things in BA.. If Others want to try and connect for a beer let me know and we can see if we can plan a get together..
Seems everytime I am in town (which is not often.. Enough) there are no Stripper party's or BBQ's at the AP house.. Or work gets in the way.. And I don't get the opportunity to connect with some of the long standing members that have been extreamly helpful in the past relative to pointing me in the right Chica direction..
Looking forward to yet another excellent adventure in BA..
Lab.
