You are dead on right. It is all about how much you enjoy your session, however minimizing the risks is not a bad idea. Let's say you are exploring on your own, and you get a crazy quote, but still want to try, you might want to pay a fair price and then if it is no good, well, you move on. "en serio" is the best one.

Its one of the most popular expressions of the locals here ( especially the girls). Its short and easy to speak and sounds as if you have been living here for ever.

Additional points if you could copy the hand gestures and facial expressions of the locals when they say "en serio"!
